Williams maybe the best chance to beat Floyd. Floyd has never fought the very tall guy (185 cm) who is also fast like Williams before.

Break down these matchups stylistically. It's an insult to Cotto to compare him to Baldomir...not really, but they aren't alike.

There are several fighters 154 and down who I believe would have a good chance at beating Floyd.

Cotto, Mosley, Williams, and Forrest jump to mind.

Agreed! I'm hard-pressed to see how anyone would honestly believe Hatton posed a tougher fight than Cotto or Williams would.

After watching Cotto v Judah & even though I really rate Cotto I will be suprised if he beats PBF.. Williams i've only really seen v Margarito so I can't say..

Cotto, Williams and Margarito all have the size and strength that Hatton didn't have. If they adopt a Hattanesque style, I am not sure that Mayweather will make it look so easy. Size does make a difference when the fight becomes physical.

If Mayweather fought Williams Cotto Margarito and Mosley he'd lose at least once.

I dont think Shane could beat Floyd anymore. He would not bull Floyd to the ropes. I think he would try to stay in the middle of the ring and fight Floyd, which would be a mistake. Cotto is a great finisher and I think he would pose the most problems for Floyd. But i think Floyd will win.

Well that's why we want to see these fights, to take the guess work and the what if's out of it. If Floyd wants to go down as one of the top 10 ATG's he has to continue to fight, cause that's what the Duran's and the SRR's of the sport did. Then didn't get almost to the top and stop, they kept on fighting and win, loose or draw, they fought the best out there.

    Why not?

Cotto is twice the fighter Hatton is, at 147. Williams too.

They both make Ricky their *****.

The best person to beat Floyd, is himself.

    LOL.

I love that the only legitimately called knockdown in Floyd's career, has to be credited to Floyd himself for breaking his hand on Hernandez's head.

Please note that I understand and acknowledge that Judah was robbed of a knockdown in their bout.
