Cotto would be an easier fight than Hatton, because of his speed and defense.

Williams would bring a lot of trouble. He could beat Mayweather.

36 year old Mosley just lost. I think he would also lose against Floyd. He doesn't deserve the fight, he just lost.

37-year old Forrest can't beat Mayweather.

I doubt Cotto would be easier..but i'd still favor floyd to beat him pretty clearly.

 

I always tought i fight with Cotto would be much easier for Floyd than a fight with Hatton, and we all know what happen to Hatton, i gotta a feeling we will see something similiar if Mayweather faces Cotto.

 

I agree, Zab was robbed of a KD most definately. But 2 me, I am not 2 far off from what I said. FLoyd is a complete fighter, if he fights at his best his full potential, no WW out there can beat him IMO.

2 beat floyd a fighter needs a lot of attributes, and there is not 1 fighter that embodies everything you need to beat Floyd. Pressure alone ccant beat him, you need a good jab, great defense, and stamina 2 go all 12 rounds, and also have the mental toughness to sustain it 4 the 12 rounds. People say Cotto can do it, I mean he mayb can, but if Floyd is on his A game I dont see him doing it either. He has some of the attributes to do it, but he lacksthe defense, and I dont kno If he can sustain the pressure 4 12 rounds str8. In the fight with Mosley he kind of slowed down in the money rounds. PW is long, doesnt really pressure 2 much, but can. He throws a lot of punches. Problem is he is very easy 2 hit as well. Margarito was hitting him a lot, I could only imagine what a faster Floyd can do.
So 2 me Floyd controls his own destiny, if he fights to his ability, he shouldnt lose 4 now.

I've been saying that for almost two years now.

 

I think he would have to have some more fights, big fights to gain the experience to beat Floyd. But he is Floyd's stylistic nemisis.

 

Floyd will only lose if he fights on for too long.

I'd say Williams would have the best chance right now, but Floyd appears to be one level above everyone else, I'd never bet against him.

 

Williams is an AWFUL matchup for Floyd.

I picked Floyd to beat Hatton easily, which he did...and I would pick Williams to do the same to Floyd.

He holds just about EVERY advantage over Floyd...
