These expectations will lead you only to a bitter well of disappointment and recrimination.

AJ couldnt KO parker, yet somehow JOSHUA knocks out Fury. Fury is the epitome of slickness, Joshua will be hitting air all night, and the judges will somehow reward Joshua with the win when everyone else had it for Fury. Its the same song and dance people, Fury is anti establishment, Joshua is a shill, Fury isnt getting the preferential treatment here, he will get robbed unless he absolutely dominates every round.

Boxing doesn't work like that. Fury got lucky vs John McDermott so surely has no chance v AJ if we go by you're logic

2009 dude. I saw Joshua get a lot luckier at Olympics 2012, namely two bouts he lost.

And Fury hasn't fought in 3 years and got put down by a cruiserweight. See how one can play this silly game of whataboutsism

I reserve the my judgement on Fury until he actually gets back in the ring vs a live body and not Hungarian taxi drivers

    Dave Allen on Tyson Fury

'Although there isn't many notable names on Allen's nine-bout record the Yorkshireman has made a name in boxing circles with tough sparring with some of the world's best including; Tyson Fury, Wladimir Klitschko, Artur Szpilka and Anthony Joshua. Fury's trainer and uncle Peter has been quoted as saying “you could hit Dave Allen with a baseball bat and he'd probably just smile”. High praise from a man not known for mincing his words.

“I've sparred Klitschko, Szpilka, Fury and I rely on my strength and toughness. I know I'm not the biggest heavyweight around but I'm on a guy from the start and, unless an opponent lays me out, I'll carry on being on them until the end. Richard Towers will find that out next month. It's going to take a special fighter to beat me and I'm borderline delusional in (my confidence) to how far I can go.”

I ask who impressed him the most in all of his sparring sessions with the above men?

“Tyson Fury” Allen replies without a moment's hesitation. “Tyson Fury is levels above anyone else and I've said it before; the only person who can beat Tyson Fury IS Tyson Fury. Fury's got this size and the skill, speed and finesse he uses with it makes him miles ahead of anybody in the world.”

“Anthony Joshua is a special talent but he doesn't have the boxing ability Fury has. I really don't see anyone being able to challenge Fury for many years to come.”

“I've been sparring Joshua since 2011 even before the Olympics. I'm a big fan and the excitement he's brought to boxing is amazing but, having sparred around 500 rounds with him I truly believe I can beat him. I know that and Anthony knows that. I don't see me getting the fight as he's going to be moving on but I'd love to prove myself and he's definitely beatable and I've got his number.”

Exclusive: Who's the best, biggest puncher from Klitschko, Joshua, Fury's, Chisora and Price? - Sparring partner Machaj reveals all

Tyson Fury looks set to come back later this year if his hearing with UKAD is successful, whilst Hughie Fury is on the fringes of world title glory.

One man who has had the opportunity to spar with such titans is Lancastrian Adam Machaj. He reveals the fighters stood out from the pack.

“The toughest one I fought in terms of ability was Tyson, he’d beat most of the names out of shape now, getting off the settee. He’s too skilful,” the 29-year-old exclusively told World Boxing News.

“He runs you around and makes you angry. In terms of a physical athlete it has to be Klitschko and Joshua, they’re the biggest athletes.

“David Price was probably the biggest puncher as every punch he landed hurt, whilst Chisora was good as he was like a little Tasmanian devil, they’re all good in their own rights.”

With talk of Joshua and Fury heating up for a summer showdown in 2018, Michaj has predicted the outcome.

“I don’t think Fury would stop him but I think he’d outpoint him. His foot movement, skills, deceptive, he switches his arms, his style changes every two seconds.

“The only way to beat him is to knock him to the deck, even Tyson said that but apart from that you’re going to struggle.”

The ‘Heat Seeker’ has risen in confidence since sharing the ring with the heavy hitters and has vowed to deliver performances no one has witnessed him do before.

“I’ve sparred all of them, I was in the Klitschko camp for three weeks. I’ve sparred Tyson and Hughie a lot of times, David Price I’ve done a lot of rounds with, I’ve trained with them all.

“My confidence is good I don’t get nervous and have held my own with them all, it’s just landing that punch, nobody has seen what I can do yet. Once I land square, they won’t get up off the floor,” he added.'

Joe Joyce on The Furious One.

You’ve sparred Tyson Fury, how do you think he’ll do in his comeback?

Joyce: ''Especially looking at footage of him doing pads, he’s looking really quick and slick and that’s what he is. It would be a nightmare to spar him when he’s in good shape. Because he’s a nightmare to spar even when he’s 25 stone out of shape.''

With a few more years of experience under his belt, hard work and dedication, no more pies and custard tarts or livin' la vida loca, and a bit of luck and he probably will beat AJ.
