Who from AJ's resume would beat Fury? Ruiz wouldn't. Wlad didn't. Martin and Breezale lol. Takam and Pulev are old. The only guy I think would make it interesting is Povetkin and even he would have already been up there in age.

Time to use your logic against you. Who on Fury's resume would beat Joshua ? Otto Wallin wouldn't, Derek Chisora wouldn't, Tom Schwarz definitely wouldn't. Deontay Wilder ? He ducked Joshua LOL Maybe past it Klitschko ? We already know how that went. But that being said Joshua has the better resume

Both are the top 2 so nobody on eithers resume would be favored over Fury or Joshua. Thats why we all want Fury and Joshua to fight. Thats why the potential fight is so massive. Because they're the top 2, however it seems like Fury lost his pen during negotiations and now he's fighting Wilder for a 3rd time. Too bad. He claims he's a spartan that doesn't care about the money but refused to sign the contract until the money was guaranteed.

A court ordered Fury-Wilder 3, nobody wants to see this fight other than Wilder's delusional fan base who think he was cheated somehow. Based on ticket sales, Wilder would make more money from a step aside clause. Wilder's best play by far would have been renegotiating his rematch to clause to the winner of the super fight and he could have taken a couple of other opponents and worked on whatever fine tuning to his game in the mean time.

The buildup will be entertaining, not so sure about the fight itself though.

Fury claimed he wasn't going to sign the contract untio the money was guaranteed, this was before the judge ruled in favor of Wilder.

    Yeah i dont mind Fury

Not sure I've ever argued he has a better resume tho

Better singular win? Yeah id say so

And if you can find a post with me knocking AJ's opposition ftom me id be impressed

You obviously must be thinking of someone else

Easily done with a split personality like you have i guess :eyepop:

Not a good fight for Whyte. Fury is all wrong for him. Nonetheless, the build up would be entertaining and if Whyte were to somehow get the upset, many tears would be shed that day lol For these reasons I hope the fight gets made.

This was you responding to me when i said Joshua's win over Povetkin is more impressive than Fury's win over Wilder. There's no way around it. Fury's win over Wilder is pretty impressive on paper until you dig up Wilder's opposition. At this point Povetkin had been fighting better opponents on average. Even when Joshua fought Povetkin out of his prime and on his turf, he fought a much better fighter than Wilder. Because Povetkin brutally KO'd Whyte who himself arguably has a resumr on par with Wilders, oh and he did this 2 years after getting iced by Joshua.

But i guess you changed your opinion to better "singular" win now. I agree with that, Fury's win over Klitschko is much better than Joshua's win over Klitschko, but thats it. Fury's resume is overrated

    Never changed my mind

    Thats always been my opinon

Note I've never stated Furys resume is "better"

When you consider Furys two world title wins away from home they kind of even themselves out

Furys title win away from home and against corupt judges and a biased WBC is far a more impressive win when you take everything in to account

Sasha had recently been rocked by bloody David Price yet you think its a better win

Each to their own but its an odd pov

I doesn't even it out enough, because all of this noble, brave, and "impressive" stuff was against a one trick pony with an abysmal resume. It's not that impressive. Wilder ducked Whyte (even whyte ?) and Joshua, has only beaten Luis Ortiz, struggled heavily in both fights, went practically life and death with Eric Molina, and didn't want to fight Klitschko so that gives you a clue about how good Wilder actually is. He's not that good.

Way too much talking and not enough fighting for Fury. . He still has to get past Wilder and an inactive Fury is not as good as an active Fury.

Wilder is Wilder. He's always in shape and is no less dangerous now than he was 2 years ago.

I give credit to Fury for going to America, being aware that the judges might rob him and beating the absolute **** out of Wilder. It's a good win. Joshua doesn't have that kind of heart, that being said Wilder just isn't really that good, over the years i question whether of not Wilder would even convincingly beat Parker based on his lackluster performances. Thats why i don't rate the win as much as others

Here I'll stop pretending to like Fury though

Stack the odds Fury had against him compared to the odds AJ never had against him

Add a very dangerous puncher who whilst lacking a fair few fundamentals, had knocked him down twice prior

You get an impressive win taking everything in to account

But yep the Sasha win is better, sure....
