Most of the infamous ones have been mentioned, Pacquiao vs Hatton and Maravilla vs Williams are two that I always found disturbingly violent. I also still don't understand how Duran was somehow trying to get up after Hearns completely destroyed the side of his face. I'm gonna go for hardest body shot which i vote Golovkin against Macklin. Even in this sport you rarely see a trained fighter in that kind of anguish collapsed in a heap, I think he fractured two of his ribs. Golovkin was a scary guy.
Anthony Mundine’s right hand on Guy Waters was brutal also the right hand Mundine landed and dropped Sam Soliman with in the second round was deadly I couldn’t believe Soliman got up from that and lasted another 7 rounds.
Ibeabuchi’s uppercut against Chris Byrd should have been mentioned in the first post—perhaps even in the title. Lewis probably had the hardest jab in the sport. McClellan had the hardest straight right hand. The right hook probably goes to Deontay Wilder. It’s much more difficult to choose the hardest left hook. Many great fighters had tremendous left hooks—it’s such a powerful tool. Why not David Tua? Or Mike Tyson. Or Roy Jones, also known as Captain Hook, for a reason. This content is protected
Foreman kind of lifted Joe Frazier off the floor in one of the KD's of their match and that does not happen every day, people. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the fighter taking the shot, but RJJ put one guy out that sickens me to this day, the reaction. I genuinely believe it looked like he'd just been shot in the head. Like this is what it looks like to see a man dying in front of you. It's in most of his highlight reels and I hate looking at it. Maybe someone knows the one and has his name here. Of course that'd be P4P punch, not that it's competing with Lewis or anything overall.
I believe it was against Art Serwano. Knocked him out in the first round and it legitimately looked like his soul left his body. Like it looked like he lost control of his jaw, his eyes, and other motor functions. This content is protected
First punch that comes to mind is Joe Frazier’s left hook which put Ali down in the last round of their first fight. One of the finest left hooks ever. The fact Ali got up straight away like nothing had happened and finished the fight is downright crazy. AJ’s big right hand on Ngannou deserves a mention too. That was awesome.
I’d say Foreman’s knockout vs. Moorer—the punch looked like a mere touch, which makes it even more scary.
That's a rough thumbnail... Did Wlad really have a brontosaurus neck or did AJ's uppercut just stretch him out? xD
