1) Martinez - No explanation necessary. Smart, strategic, multi-faceted fighter with athleticism, experience, resolve, that carries his power into the late rounds, which resides in both hands. 2) Pacquaio - Pacquaio deserves his respect. The same said about Martinez applies to Pacquaio, but he will have more trouble executing a gameplan due to his potential physical limitations. Regardless, depending on reality and not what is said, he has an excellent chance and will land on Floyd at least enough to make Floyd uncomfortable if not put him out. 3) Angulo - Monsterous chin likely gave out due to stamina against Kirkland who was landing some serious punches on Angulo, who punched himself out early in the fight. I am not sure if Floyd can hurt this man. He can do his best to neutralize him with his legs and a measured body attack, but he may not have the power to keep the relentless Angulo off of him. I think with Angulo's southpaw stance, size, style, and relentlessness, it's murder on the ropes. Kirkland is a southpaw himself, and he's a strong dude, which negates some of the advantages Angulo would have if Kirkland was Orthadox instead. 4) Williams - Tall, size, pressure, workrate, good enough power. 5) Lara - Excllent pedigree, counterpuncher, speed, length, may even turn out to be the best of this group, but that is not proven at this point. 5) Alvarez 6) Kirkland 7) Molina
He'll drop it. He doesn't care about titles and seems to hold a sense of loyalty to the WBC and their flashy green belts.
Knowing Floyd and his bytch tendencies, he's gonna fight Amir Kahn and Canelo. After that he'll retire and calls himself the GOAT for never losing.
give alverez another year and id pick him.... he has size, power, accuracy, variety of punch, good speed, and the ability to put his punches together. if he played his tactics perfectly, i could see him giving floyd a good fight.
I don't think it's the most marketable fight either, but Angulo is a very dangerous opponent and it would be a fan friendly fight.
LMFAO...The same Angulo who got beat by Kermit Cintron and knocked out by a weak chinned Kirkland...Angulo is not dangerous bro..slow and comes forward...Floyd UD 12-0..there are better fights out there...I could only imagine what people would say..Angulo is not even ranked top 4 at JMW nor is he a top 10 lb4lb...that's low competition right there.
That's the one. Cintron has one punch KO power, is much bigger and taller than Floyd, which allowed him to manhandle Angulo who was still green. No way Floyd is strong enough to do the same, nor can he get Angulo's respect with his punches like Cintron did. It's a completely different fight. That's like saying, Shane knocked out Margarito, so Floyd would do the same thing. And it doesn't matter what he's ranked. This isn't about how Angulo matches up against other fighters, it's how he matches up against Floyd. And against Floyd, that style of fighter is a nightmare. The only mistake I may have made is rating Angulo above Paul Williams in regards to who has the best chance to beat Floyd. The issue here is Angulo's, size, stamina, ability to absorb punishment, southpaw style, workrate, and knock out power. Floyd would have to literally run for his life against Angulo. He can't afford to stay against the ropes with this type of fighter. And again, I didn't say that this is the fight that people want to see. I just ranked them by the danger they present in regards to Floyd.
