The HARDEST fights for Floyd RIGHT NOW...

You do realize that Quintana is a southpaw right?

The only fighters that have bothered Williams substantially are southpaws.

And in regards to Mayweather's power, Williams does have an iron chin. Not even Lara could wobble him, and Lara was landing that LEFT STRAIGHT all night.

When has Martinez been countered badly?

And let me ask you this, who is more dangerous for Floyd, Barker or Cotto?

IE a long, tall 6 foot middleweight, or Cotto?

Let's be realistic. Barker is by no means a great middleweight, but he is a LEGITIMATE middleweight with reach and skills.

Cotto is a small 154 lb fighter.

So, who do YOU think could challenge Floyd?

Come on man, you need to look at things more objectively.

Since you say Floyd would wipe the floor with Martinez, how do you see the fight playing out?

You think Martinez will abandon all his skill and athleticism, and go for broke, tryin to muscle Floyd against the ropes and blindly wail away?

    Nah...

Martinez is going to make Floyd box. And Martinez hands are just as fast as Floyds, and Floyd is most vulnerable when he's throwing. Martinez has the reach, the speed and the timing to hit Floyd when he's throwing.

One punch from Martinez could be game over...

    He has serious power.

On the other hand, Floyd takes a position like Macklin did. I imagine this is what he would do.

This is his best chance. Even then, Martinez still has the reach advantage, he's still fast, uses a lot of movement, and he looks for counters. He's a very patient fighter.

Anytime Floyd opens up, he's vulnerable.

This would be by far the hardest fight of his career. In my mind, I would give Sergio a slight advantage.

But at the same time, I wouldn't ask Floyd to go up that high. That's asking too much.

I don't think it's asking too much for Floyd to fight Pacquaio though. Pacquaio is the smaller man. That's the fight that needs to happen.

That's the fight fans want to see.

When you start talkin about Williams and Angulo, size plays a significant factor. And Floyd can only go up so high and compete with guys so big. At some point, size and a certain skillset will overwhelm him.

I'm so sick of hearing Martinez's name thrown in with Mayweather and Pacquiao's name. Martinez should stick to the middleweight division or supermiddleweight if he wants a test. His legacy has been built at MW. Chavez Jr, Geale, Sturm, Pirog, Golovkin, N'Jikam. There's plenty to pick from.

If Martinez seriously want's the fight, actually drop down to junior middleweight and prove you can still make the division and beat a prominent fighter there. His best JMW win was against Kermit Cintron (ignore the bs draw decision/robbery).

How am I a troll? because I don't agree with your view? No one in my mind will give anyone as tough a fight as Castillo did at this moment in time.

No because you don't break **** down.

You just say Floyd will win. That's trollish behavior.

What's to be broken down? Martinez fights with hands low, Floyd pot shots, smiles, jabs him. Lead right.

    All night.

Have you ever seen Martinez-Williams II? Martinez-Pavlik?

Floyd can't pushed Cotto out with all of his boxing skills.. Martinez would be a better pressure fighter, stronger, faster, bigger, longer, and a more durable version Cotto.. Martinez would take Floyd's best shot all night and won't get knocked down.. :hey Floyd won't be able to dodge/block all of Martinez's puches.. One will connect, and two or three will follow.. Plus the punches that will land on the arms, elbows, and shoulders of Floyd..

Martinez KO Mayweather inside of 10.. :deal

Martinez isn't as good of an inside fighter as Cotto is though, he certainly is not as physical either.

He fights form the outside, with his arms down. That's a no no against Mayweather
