Probably Hide or Bert Cooper for me. Both guys could legitimately crack heavyweight chins. I think Haye could be up there though...very good puncher.
I'd rank the likes of Jeff Lampkin and Holyfield a notch down from those guys.

Probably Hyde. If he'd fought at CW earlier on he might be more highly-regarded then he is now.

Mind you, don't remember CW as being too strong back then? Maybe I'm wrong. Still, he didn't do too badly at HW, all things considered.

Now it's been mooted let's hope Enzo Mac vs. herbie Hied happens early next year (taking for granted Mac beats Alvarez)

That would be a war and I could see Hide winning.

For me it's either Hide, Cooper or Ezra Sellers.

If we are talking modern cruisers then S T Gordon should be there or there abouts; Holyfield banged big time whilst a 190lber, Ricky Parkey could punch.

Seller's nearly knocked out Alex Stewart with a jab. One of the defining moments of my time as a boxing fan.

Marciano. 183 lbs was pretty light for a cruiserweight too.

    Haye has a claim.

His punches only seem to need to glance sombodys head to hurt them.

Hyde is perhaps the obvious choice.

Shame Bob Satterfield is not in the question.
