I really don't have a clue what you are on about..I said it doesnt matter where a fighter comes from, I don't know what more I can say about it.Any way you are obviously much too thin skinned and easily offended to make a debate with you either interesting or rewarding.I pointed out the limitations to McAvoy's record ie no stoppages over world class middle weights whilst he himself was at160lbs and I think any reasonable poster would see that as a prerequisite to making some one a top level puncher,ie world class.
I don't know who you think I am, but I know who you are Mr Glenn and I know why you haunt boxing sites ,to glorify your relation Mr Gilroy and elevate him to a position as a world class fighter that he never actually attained during his reasonably average domestic career.In the past when you have been questioned about your admirable but rather misguided,imo loyalty to him you have excused his defeats as either being robberies or him being forced to fight out of his weight class.
Who exactly forced him to fight out of his weight class ?
You often allude to a London based plot to keep him away from title shots. When asked what would be the motive for such a plot you have never been able to give one?
Perhaps you can enlighten us now?
I asked you on another British thread for these reports you say prove the justice of your position,but again you produced nothing.
On this thread I asked you to name McAvoy's 3 best stoppages whilst he was 160lbs?

Well Mr Glenn ,with all due respect you are neither,by all means cherish your Grandfathers? memory it is an an admirable thing to do but do try and be objective about him and his era,and do try and refrain from playing the innocent victim especially when you are making so free with the gratuitous insults yourself.

Weird how Ray Robinson has knocked out better opposition and tougher opposition then anyone on the list yet he is circling the bottom.

 

Stanley Ketchal had bone crunching power from my understanding as did Billy Papke

 

Never thought of Papke as being a major banger ,but a look at his record suggests you may be right.
I believe he was the only middleweight to stop Ketchel?
