    I think you can place Mayorga and Tyson in any hood or ghetto and those guys would fit in well.

    And would beat the hell out of anyone ...

    In the old film from the Dempsey-Carpentier fight, there is a close up of Dempsey sitting on his stool waiting for the fight to start. That look on his face was about as hard as it gets.

    I don't consider Ali for this because I believe that Hardness has to be a messure of both your strength and toughness and your attitude in the ring. Nobody took a punch like ali but he wasn't exactly a fiersome dude in the ring that just wanted to walk you down and make you hurt.
