Truly amazing what hard work and dedication can do.

I was recently casting an eye over the divisions and theres no doubt that the UK are the dominant force in boxing. This is not bragging as being a fan of the sport, I would follow boxing even if it was unheard of in the UK, but just look at the irrefutable evidence, or if you need a bit of further understanding read on

HW. T Fury is making great strides and looking to face the best.
D Wilder is a world title holder who has had more fights but his resume does not come close. Consider that M Scott is arguably one of Wilders best wins and M Scott had been beaten by Chisora who Fury has twice beaten.
If Fury beats Wlad and it looks well within his grasp having proven himself in the tough HW European scene, Fury will cement what real fans already know

CW - Afolabi was pushing then division number 1 man Huck to the limit and it looks like Enzo Mac will soon be facing Russian megastar Яoy Joneski for the WBA CW title and Bellew no longer weight drained and looking strong

LHW - There is Cleverly who lost to Kovalev but consider how even now everyone seems to be facing Nathans victims

SMW - The top SMW is Degale but then look at how the UK SMWs follow after him with 18-0 C Smith, 20-0 J Cox, Murray, Groves etc. Buglioni who has not even fought for the British title was able to floor and push a world champ ffs
The UK is leading the way

MW - there is undefeated BJ Saunders and Eubank Jnr

LMW - theres world champ L Smith

WW - the top man K Brook, then there is A Khan and F Gavin, the UK top WW

LWW - undefeated J Catterall is working his way up

LW - world champ Flanigan, world champ Crolla, Mitchell, undefeated Olympic gold medallist Campbell, Mathews, Burns, Cardle.
No doubt that the UK are top of the tree at LW

SFW - there is S Smith and L Walsh looking like possible players in the division in the near future

FW - World champ L Selby and potential challenger Warrington

SBW - Quigg and Frampton world champs and the top boys with undefeated Mcdonnell coming through.
    SBW is the UKs division

BW - the top BW also comes from the UK, which is J Mcdonnell and now there is the new champ in the division L Haskins who holds a win over Jamie.
    wow

SFlyW, not normally a division in the UK but things have changed as there is former world champ Butler there, as well as amazing prospect Yafai, and undefeated Conlan

Lets not forget also that the UK were the boxing winners at the Olympics as well.

The UK really is flying the flag and raising the bar, but this is also not completely new when I looked further into it.

Arguably the greatest HW ever - L Lewis.
Arguably the greatest CW ever - D Haye
A LHW that wouldnt be beaten in Calzaghe with Conteh up there
No arguement the greatest SMW ever - Calzaghe
it all stacks up to where the UK is now today with

top men at WW, SBW, BW, SMW all from the UK.
As Hans mentioned hard work and dedication

Tremendous post from a tremendous poster

I would also say head to head we have the best fighter in multiple division too:

    Joshua could beat any Heavyweight

DeGale could beat any Super Middleweight

Brook and Khan beat any other Welterweight

Lightweight? Take your pick, but I'd say Campbell and Turbo Terry are the two top men

Would only pick MAYBE Lomachenko against Selby but certainly wouldn't be suprised if the Barry Boy Assassin did him

Frampton and Quigg both KO Rigo. Who's better out of them two? I guess we will find out on Feb 27th (and for the record what fight between two Americans could sell out an arena the size of Manchester in less then 5 mins)

And after watching Yamanaka v Moreno, I'd fancy McDonnell to do the pair of them

I wonder if American's feel the same about the hardwork/ medication era coming to end as they did when The Undertaker's Streak ended at Wrestlemania? :think

Thank you Hans and no doubt H2H really stands it on its head. Spot on there. The UK is clearing up, but I did mention a while back when Britain won the Olympics that Britain is the new Cuba when it comes to amateurs and that great pedigree is spilling over into the pro ranks

I'm afraid that is just made up by fans of American PED cheats like Mayweather, Jones, Toney, Mosley, Holyfield etc, etc. Funny how it's mainly them that get caught yet other countries do outside competition testing.

"Every athlete from amatures to pro, in every country" Who is the real deluded one here. I wonder what sauce Dustin Nichols

  10. The delusion is strong in this one.
Won't deny that those dudes got caught. And I will deny that I was ever a HUUGE fan of any of those guys because I never was (and for the record, Ward might have to be put on that list. Look up why is ward testy about testing)

But, as I said before, everyone cheats. Get over it broski.
Steroids are every where, as is corruption. Sports are dirty, whether it is with PED cheats, ball deflating cheats, FIFA bribery cheats, every track and field athlete ever....

We are talking PEDs here. So you are telling me every amature boxer and pro boxer on earth is juiced to the gills.:lol:

Even caught PED cheats never use that excuse Larry Obuelewo was caught and even he said it's much more rife in the USA.

    Add Fury to the list.

I'm telling you, the hardwork dedication era has begun. What more proof do you need?
