He says he has nothing to hide and did nothing wrong, but won't talk about what he was doing at ringside or why he was celebrating in the ring with Peterson. That's some crooked bull****. Rematch next up, at the very least. If he's found to have interfered at all it'll be ruled a no contest.
Lol that's like a bank robber saying 'I have nothing to hide and have done nothing wrong, but I won't comment on why I was at the bank, wearing a mask and holding a shotgun'
:deal Agree with all of that & all he does in that interview is talk about his past involvement with other fighters, he says nothing about the IBF. Hat Man thought he got away with it but he has been exposed & has been given legal advice. I expect a lot more dirt to be dug up about him, especially about why his "superstar" amatuer Hunter has mysteriously withdrawn from the US olympic squad.
The fact that he names Don King first and foremost in his list of admired and revered personalities is in itself very revealing, in fact he goes on to name DK again later in the interview.
The excuse gets worse the more I consider it. Imagine your wife finds you cheating on her and all you can come out with is 'How dare you suggest I'd cheat on my wife? Praise be to Allah!' It's so unsophisticated when you think of it. When you think of the lengths people go to to cheat in casinos, and then the Peterson team just come up with 'No, just send him over to the judges to change their cards. Only the hardcore fans will notice'
If he is a IBF official he should have his licencing revoked and banned from ever officiating/Judging a Professional ( or Amature ) Boxing fight againt. For cunducting himself in an unprofessional manner. I had not given much attention to the whole Khan-spiracy, mainly because I felt it was a close fight and Peterson did enough work to win. But after seeing the videos of the "Shady HatMan", I can clearly understand why Team Khan feels the way they do. This "HatMan" is not doing Peterson or Boxing any favors.
