it is getting old ...wlad comes in tip top shape ...pounds the **** out of another contender ..then the crowd and fans boo him for it ... call HIM a coward ..call HIM a safty first fighter... last night wlad was throwing 50 punches around how the **** in a million years is this a safty first fighter?!?! how!!! you guys can keep throwing names at him ..it wont matter he'll continue to clean up shop untill he ..like all fighters eventually loses agian which will bring about loud chants of i told ya so .. you told us what? .. that for 5-6-7 years a man can dominate a division before it finally catches up with him? ..well no **** shirlock that tends to happen to alot of people in his shoes .. you didnt tell us anything that time and reps didnt already tell us ..
well, he's boring and fights scared.....what do you expect? i personally like him, but you cant be surprised or mad that other people dont....

ok lets put it in this way ... how many punches do YOU guys feel this man must throw in a round to not be considered a boring scared fighter...how much do YOU feel he should engage
he overuses the jab, and theirs not much versatility there.......normally fighters use the jab to set up there power shots, but he uses the jab to set up more jabs, and more jabs, and more jabs, then occasionally lets loose the left hook or right straight, he throws away perfect opportunity's to throw effective power shots heard of a "1-2 fighter"?, well Wlads a "1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-2 fighter", most people tend to find that boring.....
If Wvlad was a true champion he woould have dispatched Rahman in 5 rounds like Lewis did. It took 7 rounds for Wvlad and he had to throw 50 jabs per round to do it. Wvlad's KO rate is high but it takes him 7-8 round to KO someone. Ali didn't need that many rounds. Neither did Tyson.
People keep chucking these stats out there that "prove" Wlad isnt a safety first fighter...you only need watch him for those stats to be proven wrong. But there have been plenty of great safety first fighters...that what boxing is hit the other guy more then he hits you. Wlad's longevity is going to rely on him protecting that obviously dentable chin, preventing a repeat of Brewster and Purrity where he punched himself out and keeping fights on the outside where he can dominate..He may bore some people in the process but hey if he keeps winning who cares.
Are we forgetting that Rahman also KTFO LL as well? By your logic Wlad also needs to be ko'd by Rahman just like Lewis. atsch
the only time wlad is exciting is when he is knocked down/out. i wish he would let them fists go sometimes..
Good post and correct on all points.:good Keep in mind we have a sizeable faction of pre teen/early teen guys on here who post unreasonable nonsense all the time. The criticizm of Wlad taking Rahman out is merely another example.
