I don't find it boring at all. I enjoy watching a talented fighter put on a boxing clinic, especially at HW where 1 punch can change the fight.

Its true that Wlad recent performances have not been FOTY candidates ever since his loss to Lamon Brewster but guess what he is 10-0 8KOs since then and defended IBF WBO IBO belts 7 times and also avenged his defeat to Lamon Brewster. His fights with Chris Byrd, Brewster I, Jefferson, Barret, Shufford, Mercer were anything but boring but he was vulnerable then trying to knock these guys out and put on a show. Right now, he is concentrating on defending the belts and winning the fights. If the opponents wont attack him and wont put pressure on him then he will use his jab and occasional right hand to pace himself and pile up points.

The fight wouldn't be "boring" is Rahman could of given Wlad a competive fight. It's not Wlad's responsibility to take stupid risks if he can easily pound his opponent into submission from the outside. This is a sport after all, the objective is to win. Should Michael Jordan made more foolish passes or eased up on defense so an NBA series can go to 7 games, for comparison?

Everyone seems to forget that Holmes and Lewis were also heavily criticised for being cautious and boring during their reigns. Years from now Wlad will most likely be remembered as a dominant champion, and his succesor will suffer unfavorable comparisons to him.

You are talking ****! Wlad has 31 KO in the firs 5 rounds in his career and Ali has only 16, but anyway that's not the way you compare fighters. It is about who he beat and the skills he has. And Wlad is a fighter who desrves respect for beating all the available big names in HW division today. He has altough a boring style, but ****, Mayweather jr. is not more entertainig to watch then him eather.
