Tommy V is a douche. His vagina is still sore from the pounding he received by the gangrape performed by the *******s. He was oh so confident Ricky would win and this is his way of being bitter. Pac schools Tsyzu and any version of Hatton, all day every day.

Its took me a week to come to term with hattons loss, but having watch the replays. That punch could have taken out anyone that includes koysta and even aryon pryor.

Let's have excuses also for Pac's winning.

    - Pac wasn't the old Pacquiao on the previous bouts, he keeps improving.

    Anything to add?

    Yeah.

He also looked a lot stronger on the Heavybag before the fight.

Who would have thought that getting knocked out would have made him look bad?

    Quite a shocker indeed.

In sports, different opponents can do that to you. The Buffalo Bills blew out their Afc opponent in the championship game, but they didn't look the same against Dallas in the Superbowl. Different opponents, and different matches make a difference.

The Hatton that beat Kostya looked very different because he was fighting a a way PAST HIS PRIME Tzsyu. Simple as that. So naturally Hatton would look better.

Also style wise, Tszyu's style worked in Ricky favor. Tszyu was at a disadvantage in an inside fight since his strongest punch is the straight right. And straight punches have little effect when it comes to inside fighting. And Hatton being an inside fighter, it worked beautifully for him. Tszyu doesn't like to fight inside and Hatton was pretty much all over his face from the start of the bell up to the end. Ricky never gave Kostya much chance to set up his shots. There was a quote posted here a while ago in which Hatton said that Kostya didn't really hit him that much because he never really gave Kostya space to punch. Ricky said that's what they worked on in training camp because they knew Tszyu's weakness to inside fighting. So they worked on closing the distance and never letting go. That's it.

Styles is what allowed Ricky to be effective against Kostya and not be effective against Pac. Nothing more

So the Kotsya version of Ricky still get shredded by Pac I'm afraid. Some people here conveniently ignore the circumstances in that fight and just predictably bring the "Kostya is an ATG when Ricky beat him, so that version beats Pac" argument. Which is a rather weak argument btw.

The referee has a lot to do with Hatton's win over Tszyu.

Definitely it is a different hatton, however that punch would have koed any version of hatton, its not about power alone, that ko punch was RIGHT on target! The punch coming from the right hook in the first round i could agree that the hatton of yesteryears could take that, but that final ko punch??? The best scenario i could picture there is hatton bravely trying to get up but unable to beat the count of ten imo.

Miguel Angel Gonzales loses decision to De La Hoya @140, then draws with Chavez@140 then gets destroyed by Tszyu.
Prime Zab Judah "the future of boxing" gets KOd in 2 by Kostya. Floyd "the best of his generation" wins decision and gets knocked down.
35-year old Tszyu destroys Mitchell in 3 rounds, while Floyd beats paycheck Mitchell in 6.
What if Bayless was the ref for the Tszyu-Hatton fight?
