Wlad has not been in a tight fight for a while and Haye is the only guy out there who could beat him.

As far as Resume/Prime/Skills etc is concerned - Haye is Wlad's biggest challange by a long way.

I might watch both mens bouts with John Ruiz instead.

Or Chagaev's fight with Travis Walker, I like that one.

Haye would beat Chagaev's face into the ground if ever they fought.

You cant blame Wlad that his opponents at HW are not the ATG material ...

What does cruiserweight has to do with anything? Weight classes are there for a reason. Put Chagaev against a cruiser and see what happens.

Chagaev beat younger better versions of Valuev and Ruiz and he actually went 9 rounds against Wlad - something Haye yet to accomplish.

Yet, Haye is desperately looking for ways to duck Chagaev. He knows something you don't.

What makes you think those versions of Ruiz and Valuev are that different from the versions Haye fought? They looked the same to me.

Haye is just a better fighter, he showed that in his consisten performances at Cruiserweight. He hasn't fought anyone good enough at heavyweight to compare really, but who he has fought, with the exception of Valuev, he has beaten with ease. I just think he is a better fighter than Chagaev in terms of accomplishments, and actualy skill. And that is a reasonable opinion, most people barely rate Chagaev at all.

And you know that how? The last time I checked he won 2 coming off the loss to Wlad. Shouldn't a boxer lose a few before you start writing him off?

Haye has not accomplished anything. Here is his record at HW:

    Haye-Barrett: Barrett's record since 2005: 3-6-2, hasn't won a fight afterwards

Haye-Valuev: SNV coming off 1 year layoff (injuries), indefinite retirement afterwards (injuries)

Haye-Ruiz: Ruiz is semi-retired, inactive for 1.5 years, get's his paycheck and retires afterwards

Haye-Harrison: Harrison throws 1 punch is 3 rounds, collects his paycheck and retires

wlad beating haye,a fellow champion, and previous champion from cruiserweight would not be defining?,of course it would!.

Wlad beating a two divsion champion wouldnt be defining?.

Wlad fighting and winning a superfight would not be defining?.i think his bank balance says it would!.

Wlad is two-time world champ with 10+ title defenses. What exactly fight with Haye is supposed to define?

I think it may define his ATG ranking ... with this fight he may have a stroong case for top 15-20.

And of course the Haye fight was a joke and a robbery...

I just don't understand how anyone rates Haye so high. He hasn't done ****.
