If fighters are going to be marketed as 'world champions' and aren't good enough, they should be shown up as such. They shouldn't be manouvered into a position to make them look better than they are, **** 'business', we as fans shouldn't want to see the supposed best not fight the actual best.

It's a shame for British fans we don't have any genuine World beaters or fighters right at the top of the game, but we're **** out of luck I'm afraid.

 

You never can tell. I thought Frankie Gavin looked the bollocks (and had the pedigree) despite coming from the awful amateur system we have in place today, but out-of-ring problems seem to have taken his drive/momentum, which is a real shame.

There are a few who can be negotiated into the title/'Elite' level picture. None that I see becoming a genuine top-level performer. Even including Brook, I see no one that will have a run as good as even Ricky Hatton's. Carl Froch has done really well, but will never reach the top of his division now, which is a shame for such a hard working guy. Brook looks good but makes too many mistakes, some are shocking and should've been eradicated by now so I'm not convinced. Same applies for Khan, but even moreso, luckily for him he has an incredible natural attribute (and big balls)

Don't rate Price. Fury just isn't that kind of fighter. Joshua looks too raw to be investing much hope in an astounding transition to the pro' ranks (short term anyway) so, on the horizon at least, not for me I'm afraid.

 

I rate his win over Cammarelle, who is a brilliant fighter, very highly.

After watching it, I wasn't impressed with Joshua's pro' credentials. Though he certainly appears to have the physicality and likeability to make a good punt of it.

 

I have high hopes for BJS but if they don't come to fruition, **** it. It's good to see British fighters do well but as long as good fights get made, nationality isn't the be-all and end-all.

think gavin and bjs are still possibles, maybe price as outside bet. how do we think selby or stalker will do when they turn over?

 

Our top champs just were not as good as we thought against tricky fighters.

 

I couldn't understand anyone picking Haye or Froch beforehand. Awful matchups for them both, and Haye just wasn't very good.

 

I think I honestly let my loyalties for my fellow countryman get the better of me regarding Haye, one big right could have changed it at anytime I suppose
