    What an awful post.

Froch, Khan and Haye are all going back into world title fights off of a loss.

If anything, they prove that Frank ****** is a ****ing joke.

Dont think Gavin and BJS have really sparked into life yet, still early doors.

You forget how long until the next Olympics comes around. I think that is why the general public tend to get bored. I had a few mates who knew of DeGale, Gavin and the Olympic lot. Watched a few, nothing happened and they switched off. If that was MMA they would know where they stand by now.

A huge amateur pedigree isn't giving these guys the start it should in the pros.

Hopefully the no heaguard and 3x3 will change that.

It showed that the Brits will travel into the Lions Den in their pursuit of glory. They got balls and this is "prizefighting", they made a killing.

Froch has fought the best, Haye has fought the best and Khan we know is willing to fight the best.

    War Britain! :ibutt

Too much is made of undefeated records. Id rather watch froch fight the best in the division and come up short in legitimate matchups than watch cleverly fight bums.

And what about the years of enduring Joe fight bum after bum while the 168 lb division in the States was thriving , what about him wanting to match Ricky Hatton with Gavin Rees immediatley after dethroning number 3 P4P fighter and 140 lb lineal champ Kostya Tzyu , what about Cleverly fighting Karpency instead of a Bellew rematch (Bellew " ill fight the rematch in Cardiff tomorrow ").

Im sorry mate , he is too risk adverse

Froch is a multi millionare and two time champion of the world , do you think he cares for the " Frank " way of doing things ?? , Khan has quadroupled his projected earnings (with Frank) now he's a GB fighter , Haye is a multi millionare and has fought 4 relevant fights in a short pro career , im sure he's a happy man too !!

I will grant you that for some fighters it works , but for most , its just too slow and methodical , if you place your trust in Frank you have to realise and know that at several points in your career you will be taking backward steps in terms of the calibre of opponent and earnings , but hey , if your happy knocking over fringe fighters for a decent but not great payday , he is your man , eventually he will get you that big fight , its what goes on in the middle that drives fans mad , and some of his fighters i presume

Nah was taking **** Flea, I think Gavin is very decent but isn't sorta guy who can rely on his skills he needs application. Billy Joe is a promising but do worry about his mentality if dragged into a war. He's got skills but may be a war monger.

  12. It's not going to happen for either Gavin or Saunders IMO.

I think the restrictive contracts they were/are on, allied to their out of the ring problems - be it injury or personal - has ****ed them.

They turned pro over three years ago and aren't even at the top of the domestic scene yet, which is ridiculous.... but for brief flashes from both lads we've seen very little to suggest that they can go all the way - albeit not solely their fault.

My mother has only ever watched three fights in her life - Bruno vs Lewis live, and re-runs of Hatton vs Floyd and Pac vs JMM 3 - but I'm certain she could have done a better job managing the class of 2008 than Frank has.

It's been car crash management I'm afraid. Absolute wank. If either want to go anywhere they should seek an immediate release and seek pastures new.

Couldn'r disagree with the op more.

If you aren't good enough to hold the belt then don't hold it.

As far as fighters coming through, I have high hopes for Price and Frampton.

I think the next few years are going to be interesting for Groves. As good as he is I still see a boy. As he gets older I think he could be a real force.

When it comes to Gavin, VVarren isn't to blame. He had some aweful problems out of the ring that anyone would have struggled to cope with. Hopefully he can concentrate more on the in-ring stuff despite just having a baby (congrats if reading this). If he can grow into the division a bit more and start punching with a bit more pop he has a chance of making a splash.

He must get his game head on though!!!
