with the pictures of a bloody cotto and his wife and kid crying, I thought was in horrible taste. It didn't even really reflect the way the fight went down. What the hell was that?!? I wouldn't want to see ANY fighter in a montage like that again......even if it was Floyd
Correct me if I'm worng but Lampley breaking down had zero to do with the Cotto montage and everything to do with a member of the HBO staff who is suffereing from a relapse of lukemia.
Cotto's woman looked like she just finished fighting that bout. I actually liked the picture of his son, crying, curled up in her arms. It brought a sense of humanity to the whole affair. While we're looking at Cotto as a fierce warrior, they're looking at him as both a loving husband and father and as such see the bout in an entirely different fashion then the normal boxing public does. It adds to the depth of the bout and reflects the dichotomy of the event when viewed from different perspectives.
