Haye to me looks like a thinned boned person. I would not call him big. He's tall and thin. Does anyone know Haye's offcial weight on fight night? Haye has to make weight at under 200 pounds. ItÂ’s plausible that he enters the ring at 210. The most important thing for Haye is not to gain too much weight.

Haye is fast, smooth, hard-hitting, has good reflexes and timing and looks pretty defensively adept from what I've seen of him. He's actually young, and consistently comes to his fights at least looking to be in shape, which makes him a breath of fresh air, particularly when guys like Chagaev and Peter are the other potential "hot young heavyweights." Watching the match on YouTube, here, I don't see where Haye looks stunned at all by Maccarinelli (he stumbles slightly about 20 seconds into the fight, but he's clearly just off balance after a missed punch from his opponent). He's also obviously faster and more accurate than Maccarinelli is, and I don't believe Maccarinelli is an especially slow cruiserweight. At least visually speaking, Haye seemed in excellent shape at 217 against Bonin, and his performance was impressive, too.

Obviously there are some question marks about how he'll perform against bigger opponents, but I don't think they're bigger than the ones which could be placed alongside his counterparts' names, and the up side for him is a heck of a lot better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
