The Heavyweight division is ALIVE AND KICKING HARD as ever!

Hopefully we get that 4 way in Saudi Arabia next year.

 

Nah, up until recently, I'd say between 2015-2021 it's been the best division since the 90's.

Wlads era stunk.

AJ, Fury, Wilder ETC brought it back to life.

 

I've heard 4 ways are illegal in Saudi, it's one of the reasons I've never been.

 

At least 3 of the top 10 won't have fought once this year

Tiresome (fighting a novice doesn't count)
Windmill
Rice pudding jnr


Also many fringe top 10 fighters like Bakole are just sitting about.

HW has potential but that's all. It's a very inactive division.

 

It's exciting to think about these fights, but they aren't happening most of the time. Hats off to Usyk and Joyce for coming into the picture and shaking things up (Joyce-Dubois, Joyce-Parker, Joyce-Zhang I and II all stirred the division; Usyk beat Chisora, Joshua (2), Dubois, and probably another mandatory soon in a single streak turning the division upside down.)
