The heavyweight division is not boring at all.

I guess its exactly what aspect your calling "boring" as lol....
Pointedly, you are mentioning the active rank movement of the division...
Is that honestly exciting in itself? I guess so, if you're so infatuated with the Heavyweight division.

But honestly, does ANYONE but you look at any of these fights as exciting fights? Sadly no....

To tell you the truth, the Wladimir vs Haye fight was SOOOO remarkedly boring that i worked on a new Fallout: New Vegas build on paper while casually looking at the screen once in a bit.

Uncertainty is exciting, but only to the believer and wisher. Action gives unto itself. With the heavyweight, there is a vast lack of it. Uncertainty is now found in weights twice as light, with DOUBLE the action.

You can't watch fights on paper.

And if most of the fights aren't fun to watch wouldn't that make it boring?

None of those match-ups make me say "wow" exactly.

Pov./Chag. should be fun at least.

Which was an awful fight. Let's wait to see if the others are entertaining before making outlandish statements.

I like the Klits, but how can you give credit for fighting the Peters, Thompsons, of the world? When an overhyped unproven cruiser is your best win its not a bad win, but its simply not great, but Ill always give the Klits credit for their longetivity they are good role models for the sport. Not too excited because division lacks high quality fighters. Spinks and Holyfield achieved greatness vs bigger men, Haye struggles with Barrett and Valuev. Haye had the potential to be a great HW, but that wont happen one hayemaker at a time. Even Shavers was more versatile offensively than that and he was a puncher not a boxer.

All the arguments against todays fighters are based on a lie or at the very least unproven claims. And that lie being that in some way, some how, fighters in the past were superor to fighters today.

But we have videos of all those socalled greats and anybody can see they were poor at best when compeared with the heavyweights today......

The Division sucks - Vitali is almost three divisions above in size to Adamek if we consider that the polish fighter is a natural LHW; Povetkin is getting set forever and finally meets a proven HW in a guy that is not going anywhere since being dominated by Wladimir in Germany as a late sub for David Haye; Eddie Chambers and Tony Thompson are not going anywhere either since both were outfought and beaten by Wladimir; Dimitrenko, Sprott and Liakhovich are below-pars; Fury, Chisora and Helenius are unproven and 2 green; Wladimir and Vitali are both on the verge of retirement so...

The fact that Haye was able to become the # 3 HW in such a short time says something.

Compared to some of the other divisions there is a lack of truly skilled and or exciting fighters. There is also very little likelyhood of belts changing hands.

you can put numbers by whoever you want....doesnt make them exciting....
tony thompson is 40 years old and slow as the day is long and wouldnt be a top 30 guy in the 90s

the fury - chisora fight should be good
Robert Helenius is impressive with better match ups than any contender in 10 years
ademek is gonna be briggs all over, maybe thats exciting to you
you should get as much credit as haye did for removing his shoe for putting sprott and dimintrenko anywhere on a list of great fights..the eurpoean title? oh ok...now the fight is HUGE
so you cant make chicken chicken salad out of chicken ****..its still pretty ****ing weak

People ***** way too much about the HW division, usually unnecessarily so. Claiming something like Wlad-Haye shows how the division is boring is ridiculous too, that's like saying 140 is dull and boring just because Bradley-Alexander was an utter snoozefest.

Yes, they were crying about heavyweights not fighting.
Now we have more top guys fighting each other than in any other point in boxing history and fans are still crying........
