Sonny " Bronco " Conto making pro debut this sat in Philly. A fighter comes along out of left field again ,this one a little different, beyond low tier championships he could've went for Olympic gold but went pro .

Standing 6'4 215 / 220 at 22 years old, he has very good speed ,power and great technical attributes with a vicious left hook most wont see coming. Im changing my top prospects list and putting him at number one. I think he is better then anyone that's been mentioned on here ( Joyce is not a prospect neither is Hrgovic really nor do I consider Sirenko who is every bit as dangerous as Povetkin )

Interseting story about him is a car accident ruined his baseball career and headed him into boxing, he has a Marciano attitude about him and Marciano was also a baseball prospect. one thing I know pitchers have extremely strong arms .look for a K.o record a lot when he fights .

I put Conto over the DDD's and Ajagba's of boxing after watching what limited footage and can tell you he's a major problem that will surface within 2 years for anyone. I believe he will be a future champ if he sticks with it ,his pros definatley outweigh the potential cons. The division just even tougher for those coming up, it wont be just DDD, Gorman Efe...etc.... Conto is going to be that wrench nobody saw coming and im putting over these guys.

    Most current fight 2018..

Great news for the future, just read that Hearn said Usyk will be up i May and looking to fight either Povetkin,Parker or Ortiz lol.If that's true who has ever fought such competition first up at heavyweight?
personally whilst I love it,can't help thinking he should ease into it but I guess that's why we like him right?

Usyk has fought Joyce before , an inexperienced Joyce but Usyk also spars Klitschko . He's after AJ so the only fighter you mentioned most likely would be Parker. A fight I see Usyk winning . Parker has trouble with movers.

So nice to see a promising young American HW, They’re a rarity these days. Roney Hines is another to keep an eye on, he beat Conto via split decision to win the 2018 golden gloves. Conto’s Debut is on Facebook for anyone who’s interested btw.

Yea I could see where that is a SD even with no footage . Hines was losing that one fight I saw so ??

To early to tell with Hines but I have no doubt about Conto ,big difference in a pro game level ,he has it. He also gave Rivas some work leading up to the pro as his sparring partner. Kids for real, already more polished them some in top 10 right now in some sanctioning bodies. I hope they take it slow though he's 22 , I talked to his father over his social page ,seems to be level headed as his trainer could be good and bad thing ,should he be in real tough fights where the natural reaction is to stop a fight to soon at times but he may not have to worry about that any time soon.

Don't put any of these young guys in with Dustin "the worm" Nichols. That wouldnt end well.
