    Wlad Klit
    Vit Klit
    Haye
    Adamek
    Pulev
    Fury
    Price
    Povetkin
    Jennings
    Abdulsalamov
    Solis
    Glazkov-Scott winner (I'm picking Czar)
    Szpilka-Zimnoch winner
    Arreola-Stiverne winner

And possibly joining this crew this year if they can get the right fights

    Mike Perez
    Deontay Wilder
    Luis Ortiz
    Andy Ruiz JR
    Bogdan Dinu

And, there are all kinds of guys who could bounce back in
    Chagaev
    Juan Carlos Gomez
    Ustinov
    Chisora

The division is finally starting to get loaded.

The TS starter must be like 12 and never knew how good the HW division can be. He also lives in a land where they only get fights above 175lbs.

Since 2009 it has been good.

    -Wlad
    -Vitali
    -Haye
    -Chambers
    -Povetkin
    -Peter/Arreola/Chisora
    -Fury/Adamek/Pulev/Chagaev

Definitely better than the 50s or the 80s. The 2004-2008 period was shitty, though.

It's better because there's more competition coming through, but there are no exceptional fighters there, I don't think. The best prospect is, by far, Price but there are question marks about him. Guys like Pulev, Fury and Abdusalamov are uninspiring.

The problem is, there are plenty of guys who have the potential to be a world champion but I don't think anyone is potentially great. There's no stand out fighter there. I suspect the best will be Price but I don't see him as being a great in the future.

For me, all the excitement about the next few years is purely a reflection on how abysmal the past decade has been. By far the least interesting era in heavyweight history, and the era with the least talent.

Still sucks, but will get better when the Klits retire. They've been holding the division hostage for years.

How could you leave out Bogdan Dinu?

    - But this is only exciting if these guys actually start fighting each other.

    Don't get your hopes up.

I disagree, Jack. Price, Dinu, Wilder, and Jennings all have flaws, and to varying extents, opposition that hasn't proved anything. However, each one of them has traits that put them in the "possible future star" category:

PRICE: Power, size, and a very aggressive nature.

Wilder: 1-punch KO power in both hands, incredible speed, and the ability to keep cool in the ring.

Dinu: 1-punch KO power in both hands, good balance, and killer instinct.

Jennings: Speed, aggressive nature, footwork, and the ability to throw combos without leaving himself wide open. His power is somewhat lacking, but it seems to be improving. His defense has improved with every fight. He could be the next Holyfield, if he keeps improving.

Leave out Haye. It's not like he's gonna actually fight.

Just because theyre made dosent mean theyll be exiting though, guys nowadays are more boxers/entertainers (albeit boring ones) rather than fighters

We have to hope some quality fights get made. More fights where there's no clear favourite, and both guys have a lot to lose (and gain)
