The Herbie Hide interview on Bunce

I'll probably be ridiculed for having no sense of humour here, but I felt uncomfortable with the comments Herbie Hide made last night on Buncey's show.

I love a laugh, and usually the sicker and more inappropriate the better, but in this case the way he made light of **** allegations just didn't feel right.

I'm not for one moment saying Herbie is guilty, I don't know any of the facts, and indeed I am glad he has been cleared if the evidence was non-existent.

It's just that in my line of work **** is something that features quite prominently, and I have seen first hand the damage it can do to so many people.

I just thought to discuss the subject in such a jovial manner, at that time of the evening, cheapened the show and as a big fan of both Steve Bunce and Boxnation I was disappointed that the interview was played.

Sorry guys for being a bit of a bore...................

Of course he does mate, but I just feel that this wasn't the best forum for it.

It was a light hearted, jovial conversation on a weekly boxing magazine show.

I have no problem whatsoever with Herbie speaking up for himself, I would want to if I was in the same position, but it is a very serious subject, regardless of the actual outcome, and I was just surprised the producers chose to broadcast it thats all.:good

 

It would be good to see Hide fight on BoxNation, but I can't see it happening. From 2009:

I think Bunce said he also got sued over this interview?? What happened to Bunce?
