You mean the 1 KD where he tripped over Dawson's foot?A punch was landed however had his foot not been there he probably wouldnt have gone down.

There were no couple of KD's in that fight.

How's Adamek weight in cruiser, anybody? Will it be close to 200lb for the Bell fight?

Adamek might outwork Bell, but I don't see him KOing him. Bell seems to have a pretty sturdy beard.

He was a big LHW who had to cut weight to make the limit. He is more natural at Cruiser(not so ripped muscle wise)...http://www.eastnews.com.pl/news/temat.php?temat=00160716

From what I've heard, Adamek had a new trainer for that fight and was made by him to try and change his style for more "American", less orthodox. It wasn't a smart moove considering his age maybe and a fact that one needs a lot more time to be able to do new things fluently.

I believe that "normal" Adamek would give Dawson much more competitive fight.

    thanks. :good

I checked it out. He weighed in 196.5 lbs for the Pineda fight. And he looked really fast and polished. Seems like he's really more natural at cruiser.

I think he shouldn't slug it out with Bell. He should box from the outside and just once for a while come in with a few power shots and step back out immediately. His speed and chin should let him win this I think.

I got Bell in a close one. I do wonder how the 14 or so months of inactivity have done to him.

andyz0r--I believe there is a big difference between 175 lbs and the new Cruiserweight limit of 200 lbs.

That is akin to moving up more than 3 weight divisions under normal circumstances (154-->160-->168-->175 = only 21 pounds).

Having a good chin at 175 means virtually nothing at 200 lbs.

Rumsfeld--I think it is a very tough fight to call. I can't really give a prediction on this one until I see both guys at the weigh-ins.

freelaw--Adamek vs Dawson was competitive. As PolishPummler pointed out, that "knockdown" in round 7 was a blunder by the ref, and resulted in a 3 point swing.
