    I was glad to read the story...it just underlines that boxing is a shady business. Steward and Kenty had to literally fight to get a foothold. Steward would have made it with Hearns, but it seemed Kenty was fighting for his professional life...and he won!Those guys went all in and it paid off.

    Yeah, I tend to agree with everything you said, especially the shady business.

    When he was talking to me and he said that part about getting in the car with some 400 pound dude with a big gun, and then how Pepe had a gun on the table I was like damn!

    They were both fighters who forced the issue.

    Would team Louis have taken them if they had been ranked say #4?

    Dunno. No way to know. I do know that Louis took on the best movers of the era. A couple of the best punchers got away from him.

    Very good read. Don't agree that Pac would be a favourite against Duran, though. Roberto was too skilled a counter puncher. Agree it would be a great fight, though.

    Manny said that Duran had a problem with movers?, might need to watch those bouts again, as I did not see to much of that (in prime).

    I myself would love to see that fight, and even though Emanuel properly noted that Duran's best days were 135 and that Pacquiao is really more of a natural 135 pounder, my choice to have that mythical match at 147 was deliberate.

    It would be interesting, that's for sure! I like his apt description applied to both "born warriors".
