The holograms for Vitali's introduction would all beat him.

One thing to take into consideration with Vitali-Foreman is this.

Vitali wouldn't have been scared of Foreman. Foreman would have been very intimidated by Vitali.

Foreman talks freely about how he was very intimidated by Frazier, to the extent that he was worried that his legs were shaking during the staredown.

    Consider these factors.

Foreman NEVER fought anyone as big as Vitali. In the staredown, Foreman is not even going to be on eye level. He's looking UP. That is going to mentally sit him back on his heels, realizing that he is going to be the smaller man in the fight.

He NEVER fought anyone who had a higher % of knockouts OR rounds won than Vitali does.

Vitali looks very different from the guys Foreman was used to facing. He looks like a ****in' Terminator cyborg. He has an entirely different demeanour than the Americans Foreman was used to facing. This is something new and strange to Foreman. Another thing that gets him out of his comfort zone.

Foreman is NOT going to enjoy the size, strength and intimidation factors that he had over basically every opponent of his.

He is NOT going to bomb Vitali out early.

He IS going to lose rounds on points.

He IS going to have trouble landing clean. Even in his prime, he was a clubber, not a crisp puncher.

He IS going to eat more punches than he's used to.

It's not a sure thing either way, but to automatically assume that Foreman dominates Vitali every time out is ridiculous.

Vitali is MUCH bigger. MUCH more skilled. Has an IRON chin. Heavy hands. Loves to fight. Has some mongrel in him. Would not be intimidated like many of Foreman's opponents were.

I make Lewis the favourite over Vitali. Foreman is MAYBE 50/50, but I bet on Vitali. All the things that you need for success against Foreman, Vitali has them.

    :hat

    No.1

They all are legends from the past and some of them would be certainly favorites, but it's ridiculous to say that all of them would've an easy fight against Vitali. His punches hurt big time, he's very tall and he knows how to profit from his physique. His jab is unorthodox but extremely accurate and everyone who says that Tyson in his prime (just to mention one of the greatest of all time) just walks through Vitali's jabs and knocks him out is a dreamer.

    1. Vitali vs. Foreman - 50% Chance
    2. Vitali vs. Frazier - 60% Chance. Vitali is too big for Joe but Vitali can definitely lose by ko on this one.
    3. Vitali vs. Lewis - 65%
    4. Vitali vs. Evander - 80%. Evander always has trouble against huge fighters whom he cannot push around and bully. Its like Bowe vs. Evander only difference is Vitali is more focused and more discipline fighter.
    5. Vitali vs. Tyson - 45%. Prime Tyson is a beast. Vitali might lose via ko or via disputed decision.

    Ugggh :patsch :patsch :patsch

I hate these types of arguments. Head to Head Vitali is a tough night for anybody. George Foreman was a big puncher and one of the most feared Heavyweights ever, behind Prime Tyson (But Foreman came in a much better era then Tyson, all things being equal he was the more fearsome). But in his prime he would look like an absolute midget next to Vitali, I mean Foreman fought at 220lbs in his prime, Vitali is a solid and ripped 245lbs :deal Foreman is the much Greater fighter, but given the styles here this would actually be an interesting matchup. Lennox Lewis beats Vitali prime for prime, and I'd say every time they fight. Vitali would destroy Frasier, sorry but that fight would be very one sided. I'd pick a prime Tyson over him definitely, but that matchup also produces some interest for me strictly due to Vitali's size and evasiveness. Holyfield? I'm not sure.

i have to say, that in this forum are way to much ******ed people, stop hating the klitschkos, be realistic, vitali klitschko is 6.7 high and weights around 250 pounds, has monster power, a strange but really good defense and a great chin
he would knock out completely everyone from the past,
i.g hollyfield, ali for sure, frazier, liston, holmes, louis,
because these boxers are way too small, if klitschko would be the same size like these guys, than he would have lost, but he is way to big and powerful.
he would alwas have problems with lennox lewis, because he was a perfect boxer who was really big, and i don't know about tyson, but when he was young he was a monster with a lot of confiedence.
i forgot prime george foreman, he was a monster, so i don' t know if vitali would have a chance against him.
the new generation of boxers, started in the middle 90 is much more powerful and way better trained (new health system) and the main fact bigger then the old ones, but their technical skills aren't good!

Whenever i'm reading threads like that , i often wonder to myself...

    " what's the use ? "

No need to bother. If i had to make an analogy , i feel like i'm the one and only atheist , who's surrrounded by a bunch of deluded creationists who are imposing their bull**** on the majority.

All opinions are posted by extremely biased invidivuals. all is based on pure favoritism and not much else. It's an exercice in masturbation. Fanboys will be fanboys.

What did they look like, was it in the center of the ring? was it cheesey or did it look cool?

I thought it was a bit shady to have the ringwalk.. so pro Vitali.. after all all the ATG's in the Hologram columns were.. either Afro American or Afro Carribean....... Afro (African , as in Nigerian..)

Samuel flew to Germany, was disrespected, booed... chanted at..

Arrested of his title , and flown home ....

I think a bit more respect for the man would have been a bit more sporting..

It would've been tough finding a legendary white heavyweight champion to put up there without resurrecting Rocky Marciano and Dempsey from the dead. Or, the alternative- I can see it now: "Here's some words from legendary champions Dempsey and Marciano especially for Vitali"..then the camera just pans to a deadly quiet graveyard as the audience has a "what the ****?" look on their faces. :D

Sam definitely had it harsh, I'll give you that, but he did himself no favors in the fight itself by coming into it like he did and fighting like he did. If you're going to take a beating like that, may as well go down with all guns blazing.
