The hometown disadvantage

    Every now and then we see this. I think that this was the case with last nights judging. Diaz was winning just about every round but I think that the judged gave Katsidis every close round outof fearofbeing accused of handing out a hometown decision. I just can't think of any other logical explanation for the cards last night.

    Important thing is the right peolple won and it is a point with the hometown thing

    and also talk about a home country disadvantage, they never shoulda let the amir khan fight go on after the first knockdown (compare to the stoppages in several of calzaghe's fights), but since it was in england and he is frank warrens cash cow, they made him stand up and take another brutal knockdown that i'm sure is doing wonders for his poor brain
