Lol after the fight Spence won't get any credit. If it was lomachenko, ggg, and kovalev these same people would be giving 100% full credit and boasting about it though.

 

What has those fighters, who are in entirely different divisions have to do with Brook fighting Spence?

good post... i reckon its gonna be a great fight to watch. Hoping that Kell wins would be another great boost for British boxing and there could well be a higher than normal casual viewing audience on the back of Joshua/Kilt fight.

My heart says Kell but my head saying Errol think Errol might just be to busy for Kell. However Kell can KO Spence IMO and I hope Errol gets careless whilst going to work and walks onto a Sheffield Brownie !!

I think that if this fight goes at least 8 rounds then we could a have a fight of the year contender no question about it!

Its so silly that Spence is the fav, what has he done to be in this position. Personally I'm loving it as its good odds on Kell to win. The bookies rarely gets it wrong, this is similar to lacy v calzaghe in the odds. It won't be a shut out, kell should win this.

He also put in a clear dig against stay at home fighters, saying this is what really boxers do, go to the champion's backyard and fight for the title. And mentioned that's how Brook won that title too.

But on the other hand, didn't his team just lose the pursebid and thus leaving him no choice?

Actually think its good odds on spence. Easy money. I dont think he,ll get involved in a brawl. He likes to dictate the pace too much. The problem brook will have is when he tries to up that pace himself. It gives spence more oppertunitys. Brook hits you with good clean punches. Usually ones or twos. This guy hits you with 3s and 4s. And he depletes you quick.

Brook has to make it a boxing match. Hit and not be hit. Spence has a good jab but hes a much more accurate power puncher. Beat him in the battle of the jabs. Try to make it a chess match. Brooks a quality boxer...got the ability to make the opponent apprehensive cause hes terrific at making people fall short. Hes got the best chance of the welterweights against spences style cause his movements the best in the division. He wont win if he tries to trade with spence tho. Hes got a good style for the job...but got a tendency to get pushed back to the ropes. Spence obviously doesnt hit as hard as golovkin....but if he gets brook there he,ll make brook pay for it if he stays in too long a la ggg...think carson jones 1 the first time. Cant afford to take too many shots from spence. The winner will come down to if brooks ones or twos are good enough to offset spence enough. If their not and spence starts to get at him...the writing will be on the wall. The problem is spence is a decent boxer with a bigger reach by about three inches. And maybe a slight height advantage. Outboxing hims not all that easy without taking shots back. When he does land its usually threes and fours. Brook needs to offset that... get on his bike and stick it on him when or if he falls short.

First thing to do its get this guy out his comfort zone. Great fight...i think spence stops him tho. Got a feeling brooks gonna fall into the trap of being to up for it.

 

He is the favourite because the most money has been placed on spence. The bookies place the fight originally both 10/11... as money has gone on spence they adjust their odds...It makes sense since brook is coming down in weight and coming off an orbital bone injury. At 10/11 some decent money will of been placed on spence just for those reasons alone
