Come on baby light my fire!!! It hasn't been this good in a long time. Joshua came in and fought a great fight against Klit and took his titles from him. Wilder and Ortiz fought an excellent fight that could've gone either way with both guys hurt. Whyte-Parker just put on a FOTY candidate. Chisora-Takam put on a really good fight. We got to see Bellew knock out David Haye twice. Povetkin is about to fight Joshua which will be a good fight by my estimations. And Usyk just moved up to HW after dominating the CW div. So, what is not to get excited about? If you don't think the HW div. is hot right now, then go play marbles or something.
So in other words.... We had a roided up muscle bound KO machine taking way too long to KO a shot to hell glass jawed legend. A fat sloppy bum with bad cardio getting a gift and nearly KO'd a talented but passionless fighter with bad cardio. A world champ get comprehensively dominated until he landed a hail Mary KO punch on an octogenarian. Two old shot past it featherfists slugging it out until the old one finally keeled over. And a blubbery overweight Light Heavyweight KOing a semi retired glass jawed handicap. Yep... sounds like its in excellent shape.
Only real fans who actually know history of the division and actually like good fighters some great ones will like this era! Those who don't are just pretenders! And should not be watching this sport...any dummy wishing to argue that well???? Good luck bc I guarantee you i will clown you guys ! Lol on a side note keep watch for Vlad Sirenko who is trained by Ali Bashir he will be the guy to watch after 2019! The division is just starting after Klitchko loss to Joshua....
Thats a different thing. Hes saying its hot right now and its really really hot. None of these guys are special, i agree, but they all seems evenly enough matched to bring us exciting events which it is doing and they all seem to be up for fighting each other, more or less.
poor division, one of the worst in boxing. of course its all opinions and people have different preferences, but i just don't see what is so great about it
i don't understand the English you've used in the first paragraph but i'm guessing what you're saying is "if you don't think the HW division is great, you don't deserve to be following boxing"? i'm willing to lose a few hours of my life laughing at your attempts to clown me on the subject, so, please, explain to me how a division that only has a couple of good fights left in it (AJ/Wilder/Fury) is as good as you make it out to be? yes guys like Sirenko, Teslenko, Hrgovic, Joyce, Dubois, Dychko could make it more interesting, but we're years away from that yet
I'm happy as a clam, watching Cruiserweights, Light Heavyweights, Middleweights, Super Featherweights, Bantamweights, Super Flyweights and Minimumweights that is. Sorry, it doesn't mean I'm all somber about it, just being honest. And for the record, I've been saying the same thing for years on here.
