The HW division today is as weak as it was in the Lennox Lewis era?

Boxing fans have now started doing the 90's like the 70s! Puting names up over a ten year time frame as tho they were in the top ten and all prime at once.

Here's the Ring Magazine's top ten from 94.

    #1 George Foreman.
    #2 Oliver McCall.
    #3 Riddick Bowe.
    #4 Michael Moorer.
    #5 Lennox Lewis.
    #6 Herbie Hide.
    #7 Larry Holmes.
    #8 Henry Akinwande.
    #9 Jorge Luis Gonzalez
    #10 Lional Butler.

Like all the top ten's in the 90's once you got below #4 or 5 it was poor at best.....................

Lennox Lewis' era was better. Period.

Wladimir Klitschko's best wins are probably comparable to Lennox Lewis' wins. Except for one of Lennox' wins: Vitali Klitschko. There is nobody in Wlad's resume who can compare to Vitali. (Tyson was shot and Holyfield was old. Wlad's best wins can compare to a shot Tyson or old Holy. But he has nothing that can be compared to a prime Vitali Klitschko.)

In fairness, the Mercer that fought Lewis wasn't in his prime. He had already started to baloon in weight and believe by this point he had already lost to Holyfield and....can't think of the guys name now

    Jesse Fergusson? the bribe fight?
still...Mercer was inconsistant for sure... But he showed up for the Lewis fight. That was a good fight. And Mercer looked great. Many thought he edged it out.
I think you can call him "prime" at that time.

Yep that was a highly motivated Ray Mercer who knew he had a massive opportunity infront of him.

I think the TS is an alias of that other Lewis hater Beatle. Who i also believe is that cowardzaghe character from youtube.

Lewis' resume is now looked at as one of the best of all the HW champs, through consistency and level of opposition. A level of opposition that is simply not about now.
To claim the 90's era, which is now widely recognised as the second best era of the division, to be on par with todays wasteland is really just trolling.

Since the current "champion" in spite of residing in a region where he can take all of the steroids he wishes failed to defeat the last generation of champions, Lennox Lewis, then obviously this generation is far weaker than the last.

    Really?

Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders, Lamon Brewster and Chris Byrd say otherwise...

I'll take your word for it pal.
But i do have doubts about Beatle. So similar in the way their use their hatred.:think

So if you know him personally then you must have some fiery conversations with him...being a Lewis fan! :fire
