That is just a silly statement. Roy cheated - great boxer. Margo cheated - felon.

Your logic is a bit out there...

edit: that's like saying if I killed your Mum by a bullet, then it's not as bad as if I killed her with a machete to the neck which took her head off?

    I killed her, didn't I? (hypothetical)

Its funny that i just looked at the who would have won in there primes thread,Calzaghe or Jones...And when i see Roy in those threads now and know that he got caught cheating its hard for me to reply to those now because im not sure what Roy really would have looked like in his prime because we dont know now if he was clean in his entire prime .

And according to some of the dumbest posters here, Margarito was caught with "BRICKS:lol:" aren't those just as dangerous as "brass knucles":huh

    Typical bull**** and double standards:deal

Anyone climbing into a ring with the sole purpose of beating his opponent by using anything other that that allowed by the boxing commissions to gain the upper hand is a cheat.

    Stop with the hypocrisy:bart

lol at the dumbasses who thinks Margarito didn't cheat against Cotto. if he was getting ready to plaster up against an old, past prime Mosley to defend his welterweight title, what makes you think he wouldn't use plaster against a younger, fresher, prime Cotto to win the title? it's no coincidence that his wraps looked all jacked up in those photos. and it's also no coincidence that he hasn't won a fight @ the top level since being discovered as a cheat. his punches definitely didn't have the same affects on Cotto in the rematch.

Heard this argument many times and you probably didn't know that Margarito had put on a ton of weight after partying hard after beating Cotto.

He had to lose around 35lb in only six weeks, I recall! And he did win his come back fight after the Mosley one.

He didn't use plaster you ******. They found trace elements that can be combined with another element to make plaster of paris, and this was very minimal and was detected via microscope.
