You think? Guillermo isnt really mainstream and to be honest i have never heard of Willie Casey until this fight was announced. I really wish they put this on ESPN or something.

i was at prizefighter and casey hits like a train but this is a step to far ! this kid is a differnt leauge to willy, but war willy war !

 

I think this is probably a step too far for Casey but I think he's right to take the fight and I'm convinced he has a punchers chance. Casey can win but to do that he'll need absolutely everything to go his way. He'll need to be on top form and be able to get at Rigo early and upset his ryhthm. If he is able to keep coming forward and begin to hurt Rigo whilst weathering Rigo's counter punches then he has a good chance.

Like every major sporting event in Ireland the atmosphere will be amazing and Casey will need the crowd to rattle Rigo too but if you throw all of this into the mix you do have the ingredients for an upset.

We are all well aware of Rigo's talents and for that reason I haven't gone into them in any detail. Rigo will more than likely win but Casey should not be written off. The conditions exist for Casey to win this fight and there is the potential that Rigo will take this fight lightly.

Casey has unbelievable heart and courage, the kind that comes from growing up with 21 siblings and having very few chances in life. I'm not saying that he's certain to win but I think a lot of people will be coming back to this thread in a few weeks time and retracting a lot of their comments no matter who the winner is...

 

casey is a hard little ****er, and his workrate is extreme, massive underdog though, but he will NOT show up to lose or "give it his best", casey is a kid who comes to win.

 

Casey is mad enough to not give a bollix

he will be trying to take rigo's head off with every punch!

not the best strategy but should make for interesting viewing while it lasts

Don't know who Casey is, nor what he can do, all I know is who Guillermo Rigondeaux is, what he can do and from what boxing school he comes from, CUBA. Enough said...

Casey will be fighting one of the best amateurs of all times, poor Casey will be hitting the air ( and possibly the mat ) all night long!

 

Nobody touches El Chacal, except maybe Yuriorkis Gamboa.
