I'm okay with him not being pushed to the moon if he's not ready. I would say pass based on that post fight interview. If he really felt he was ready he would've said he was.

We arent the ones stepping into the ring and going to war so I got no opinion on it. If he isn't feeling ready and or has **** going on in his personal life that draws attention away from boxing, I hope any fighter in that situation would take a step back and get squared away. Guys are getting really ****ed up. If he's got everything straight and his mind is back in it with his confidence, go for it and buck like a bull, kid.

 

The dudes trash talk has a lot of fans wanting to see him man up and back it up, but I really don't like how he's come off ever since his last fight. Teo's not there mentally, and if he's not, it's time to back off and regroup.

He'll take a lot of heat for it...but it's better to do that and admit you bit off a little too much, too soon than to step in mentally compromised like he seems to be and get destroyed. Commey isn't someone you can play around and go through the motions with.

Typical boxing politics. They want to try and put a belt on Lopez and milk defenses while waiting for Loma to get old. I hope Commey wins..... He'll face Loma next if he wins 100%.

 

Boxing game is mental and physical. Got to have both right. I think he beats Commey but mentally he needs to get his mind back to being that savage in the ring.

i agree, ive commented on how his footwork is severely lacking and how i dont think his dad can better him in that dpt. maybe hes smart enough to understand the same thing and is reevaluating his position.

He thinks Lomachenko will be easy, Commey should just be a warm up on his worst day then. If he wants to talk like he does then he has to back it up. Every fighter always has something going on in the background, so he needs to bury that excuse right now and find his sack to back up his talk.
