Not anymore, considering it is now owned by a promotor/boxer. Btw, Asterion are you from Brazil by any chance?
i don't think any of the fans would mind if the guy that is mandatory is worthy of his place. but stieglitz was just a european level fighter and couldn't even win the vacant title. atsch when the wbc had lennox lewis at no1 back when he beat ruddock he was a deserving case. hence the reason everyone still hate bowe for throwing his belt in the trash can. rant over. :yep
yeah but it should have been made vacant. u don't just give it back to a guy who has lost his last fight. atsch
OK, I didn't count the ring. I was afraid you were talking about the IBO. In my eyes there are only three abc's worth anything, the WBC, WBA and IBF. And even those three are pretty worthless.
No, they have no credibility whatsoever. And neither do the rest of them. :bart So this kind of behavior from the belt orgs should surprise no one. They're all a complete joke.
When Calzaghe signed for the Lacy (IBF Champ) fight, in order for the IBF to sanction it, Calzaghe had to agree that he would do the IBF mandatory (which was due) in his NEXT fight. He decided not to, so they rightfully stripped him. Why is that a problem?
