A thread about the IBF welterweight title and you bring up Golovkin

If this doesn't prove you need help, I don't know what does

So who can Spence fight to look good against for the title? Ion Dan?
He might as well just collect the belt and pray that Thurman drops his flute to fight next year or that Garcia stops hanging in his barbershop long enough to remember that he is a fighter.
The 147 division has really fell off.

wierd, under ibf champions brook is still listed as champion.

so if he has vacated spence will fight whoever is next in line and agrees to the fight. current rankings it'l go ponomarev first if he doesn't accept next in line is jeff horn then lamont peterson... etc...

if pono accepts, he must of rejected the fight as the final eliminator because they ended up at bundu. Was he injured?

I'm not sure if he was injured, or if he felt he wasn't ready. But I like that guy, I think that would be a good fight, he and spence. I'd prefer that fight to Horn or peterson.

Jeff Horn is definitely gunning for a shot at it.
    .........
    Horn to face German Mueller

Rising Australian welterweight Jeff Horn will face Germany's Rico Mueller next month in Brisbane.

    Source: AAP

A world title shot beckons for rising Australian welterweight Jeff Horn if he can keep his undefeated pro boxing record intact next month.

Horn (14-0-1) is locked in to face German Rico Bueller (21-1-1) on October 21 in Brisbane and his promoters say victory could make him the world's second-ranked fighter in his division.

probably be too late for jeff horn to take ponomarevs position, if pono rejects it may end up with horn pulling from his current fight and fighting for the title
