Throughout history of boxing we have had great champions who were tall, short, thickset or very slim for their respective weight classes, so the ideal body when these boxers were champions was the body type they possessed, as they were numero uno.
Stupid BS. You don't know **** about anything. Fury is a world class athlete. The look has nothing to do with the fact of being a world class athlete or not. The way you perform is.
My biggest blessing, I eat way too many kebabs but I never gain any weight. My sweet spot is between 94-97kg and no matter how much I eat I seemingly can't go over that. Just thinking about it makes me wanna have a mixed meat and chips.
If you're ascribing to that based purely upon aesthetics, then neither is Andy Ruiz. And he still managed to make a mighty bodybuilder quit.
This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like. This content is protected
I think the extra donut around the waist helps absorb bodyshots. There have been many with this spare tire and it never hampered their speed. Also the fact they can lean on their opponent is also a nice strategy. Not to mention headlocks and choking. Some of the fattest builds have been the best heavyweight s: John Ruiz, Andy Ruiz, Oleg maskaev, James toney, Tyson fury, Corrie Sanders, etc. It's not a bodybuilding contest otherwise guys like aj and that's all I can think of really lol BUT there have been successful ripped hws to say the least: the Klitschko brothers, Lennox Lewis, hasim Rahman. So I guess what ever is right in boxing can be wrong just as everything wrong can be right. Imho Roy Jones junior had the best hw build. Less than 200 lbs, strong, quick and full of energy. Which goes against everything I said ah well
