HELL YEAH!! Floyd beat his girl? I don't care when we are talking who is going to win. Tyson goes full Tyson ? I don't care Jones Jr fights dogs? I don't care
My favorites are the boxing fans who think they are experts and are always moaning about "casual fans".
I hate the "fans" who don't understand weight classes. i.g. Mayweather would get knocked out by Tyson.
couldn't have said it any better myself. it's tiresome when you read this type of **** about genuinely great fighters. but fighters from the past who have the most over-blown resumes you can find, are absolutely untouchable. even though they have plenty of losses to non world class fighters, and haven't beat many (if at all) world class fighters either. good fighters should get their credit regardless of where they come from or if you dislike them. the same goes for very good fighters and great fighters. i hate it when fighters who aren't worthy of the praise they get, get given it without any questions. but fighters who have done a hell of a lot more than they could ever come close to, get shat on. but hey, you have to deal with this kind of rubbish. especially in Today's internet age. :-(
I get tired of the crap that if a fighter loses one fight he is finished. And this glass chin stuff is crap. Lewis was knocked out two times, Louis was knocked out, Tyson was knocked out, Holmes was knocked out, Leonard was knocked out, Hearns was knocked out, etc..............Holyfield was knocked out, Foreman was knocked out, I could go on forever..........
I hate when fools use the term "ducking" to describe every fighter who doesn't fight who they think they should fight. In some people's opinion everyone is ducking everyone.
"Why is (fighterX) fighting (fighterY)? He should fight (FighterZ), at least he's a name." "(FighterX) hasn't earned a fight with (FighterY)!" "I can't wait till (FighterX) lose so his fanboys, (insert name)-tards, etc. can go away!" "I want to like (FighterY) but his fans make me want to see him lose" "(NetworkA) killin' (NetworkB)!" "I just can't deal with (NetworkA) bias. That's why (NetworkB) is winning!" 'I see all of (FighterX) fans hopped on the (FighterY) bandwagon smdh!" "Who has (FighterX) fought?".....ever heard of boxrec, youtube and opening more than 1 tab on your internet browser?atsch When 2 top 5 guys in a division fight, the loser has just been exposed...everytime.:rofl Lose 1 fight and your a fraud, bum, overrated, etc.:rofl People who don't watch fights but talk **** anyways. These are some of my favorites that I can think of off the top of my head.:rofl
Glass jaws exist in boxing, fanboy. The problem here at ESB is there are too many blind hero-worshipers who can't stand when discerning boxing fans point out that some of their heroes have less than sturdy mandibles.:deal
Yeah don't call me a fanboy unless you can back that **** up with proof. I have an unbiased view of any boxer(s) I happen to be a fan of. Secondly that's not the point I was trying to make. While I'm aware that some fighters can't take a punch as good it's not about that. What bothers me is that they treat everyone to have ever been knocked out or shaken a little by a punch regardless to if it came at the hands of a power-puncher or not. That's what I'm saying.
Who ever is knocking people out is the best and if the have '0' loses even better regardless if they have a title....
Conversely..."Fighter X fought in a previous era, so he must have sucked. Even club fighters in this era would have beaten Fighter X, just because they're a little bigger and...modern." Goes both ways.
