The proof is in the pudding, look at the Marquez fights. Against Pacquiao, Marquez was mixing it up and landing at a constant rate. Against Mayweather, Marquez looked like he was in the ****ing Matrix.

 

Floyd is fighting Mosley at age 39, ripe for the picking. I'd say Floyd has better timing.

Pac has got good timing but Mayweathers better i think !!

Pac does throw loads of silly punches in bunches and half of them miss, but he has got precision when he wants to have..

 

Hard to tell....Floyd is probably more accurate with his pot shots and jab....but in combinations I'd have to say Manny. Regardless Floyd is probably one of the only fighters who is landing just about half of everything he throws.....so I'd say Floyd.

 

I voted for Floyd but after reading the thread and understanding that the aggresor also has to have superb timing. I'm not sure who really has the best timing...

One thing I do know is u cannot base timing off connect percentage when comparing two different boxers especially when one throws 300 punches a fight compared to one who throws 800 punches...

I would love to hear the experts have this discussion like Bert , Teddy, Larry and so on...
