hmm, good question. i guess it depends on what we mean by timing. i don't think what zab did was all timing: it was occasional feinting and superior speed. i'll say all day long that super judah has better physical traits than mayweather and he was way faster that night, hence how he was able to catch him. timing however for me is different and it's more an ability to judge distance and predict opponents movements. sure, pac could time hatton but the hatton he fought that night had the ring iq of a 12 year old heroin addict

 

Zab was not smacking the **** out of Floyd..:rofl yeah he landed some good shots at a better rate.. b/c that is Zab.. he is a COUNTER PUNCHER.. he has timing and accuracy if anything. The thread starter thinks Pac has the best timing in boxing bar none right now. Despite all of the facts and pretty much everything we can use to measure this showing Floyd to be FAR superior.. But hey.. Let him state his case.

 

pac's timing is very underrated. everyone thought cotto has one of the best timing in the business... guess what? pac dominated him with the combination of timing and accuracy.

floyd's timing is magnified coz of his style, he counters a lot but pac's timing is probably one of the very best right now.

 

oh yeah, i think pac's timing gets lost in the shuffle of all his other "flashier" strengths. it's one of his subtle skills.

honestly, hatton was **** that fight. the hatton that showed up for pac was not the same that showed up for mayweather. you could argue that pac made him look bad. i would argue that hatton made hatton look bad.
