Pac is faster than Floyd. More Powerful too.

As it's been stated they both have awesome timing but it plays more into Floyd's style. I picked Floyd because he's had it his whole career, but right now it's close

the marquez fight for floyd is not a good gauge on how accurate really floyd is. i understand that floyd got more than 50% connect rate and jmm had around 12% but it's easy to be accurate when you are the much bigger man and you are letting the small man initiate the action while he has the same counterpunching style as yours.

 

Pacs timing is insanely good. You just dont see it in detail or as picture perfect as Floyds because of his style.

 

Maybe it is too late for me to think properly, but since when is connect percentage the measure of timing?

 

absolutely. i see where you're coming from; just discrediting floyd's timing is a little extreme. he relies on it heavily and i still think he is ahead of pac

B/c if you have good timing you have good connect percentage.. Unless you are intentionally pulling the trigger late to miss punches.. I mean what.. does timing cut on and off like a ******ed switch? A fighter with good timing is GOING to land his shots or his timing is not as good as you think it is. :rofl
