Manny Pacquiao, Wladimir Klitschsko, James Kirkland just to name a few are 3 guys who suffered brutal kos because they weren't in tip top shape only to come back and prove their doubters wrong.

Their trainers have gotten them into terrific shape, and so many boxers give credit to their training and trainers as to why they were able to climb up off the canvas, and win a fight.

Roach, Roger Mayweather, Beristan, Steward and a few others get you into tremendous shape for fights.

Point is good trainers train the mind too. Angulo walked into last nights fight all by himself. No sweat warming up, mind not into the fight. He didn't look excited to fight before the bell rang to start round one. I know Nacho was there, but Angulo seemed to have doubts long before Nacho got there.

Trainers give confidence, and get your body in sync with your mind.

Angulo looked intimidated by Kirkland from the start of the fight IMHO.

He looked like a guy who thought he was all by himself. I dont think he was intimidated like Khan was against Prescott. I don't think.he was in tip top shape. I don't think he beats Kirkland anyway, but you don't run out of energy that quick. Kirkland took the rest of what he had out of him by round 2.

Great win for Kirkland. He was in tremendous shape.

Angulo talked about losing his strength and conditioning coach for this fight. And it showed.

I don't think his strength and conditioning coach had anything to do with it. Personally i think Angulo needs to go train with Wolfe, if he keeps his same style she would definitely get him ready t execute.

I think it did. Would he have won? Who knows. But too see a fighter get gassed in the first round as bad as Angulo did. That just doesn't seem right.

Regardless, preparation is key in boxing, and Angulo obviously could not match kirkland preparation.
