about 40 minutes to be exact...how hard...hard..very hard...what the point of putting around...if you are to spend the time ..you use it wisely...Boxing is not a sport to do things half ass...you can get hurt in there....better prepare...better you will fair....understood...do you want to have what it takes....or not..as simple as that:good
The article did not provide any evidence to suggest the large bone density was from his genetic makeup or because he did athletics.
:huh They were talking about entire families that had unusally high bone densities so they were implying that it was genetic.
No but if can affect your performance at swimming, swimming is a non weight baring event. That's why you can get a "Out of shape fat person" who is faster at swimming than a well conditioned/ripped bad ass athlete. Bone Density affects your, if you grab two stones....the same size but one is denser than the other. The stone with the higher density will sink faster, in the sport of swimming at the highest level this will have a dramatic affect. Where hundredths of a second.....are the differences between making it to the big time.....or not making it. Sports like sprinting, weight lifting. Builds bone density..........because they are impact sports. Sports and exercise like swimming, that impact demension to the sport is taken away....therefore these kinds of exercises are not good for building bones density.
Any boxer I have...what's the difference...you want to be in better condition that your opponent you do as I say....I guarantee you my boxers are in tip top shape...
you hit the bag to punch better; you do sit ups to strengthen your abs...so that you may take shots better and orishaman, that is a very intense drill. not only taking the hits but your whole upper body is probably done by the end.
I will tell you that is the most un-popular drill on my squad..they hate it..hate it and despited..but one thing is those also, is work on tougheing their minds...they know the fight will be far less than what I will be putting them thru....Psych!!!!:yep Yes they are all spent by the time the drill is over...
i kinda wish you would make your own sticky thread orishaman and post up some more of your drills. They always seem pretty good.
I meant that the same "core" muscles are also used to throw punches. I don't think it's very useful to train muscles for taking punches. Just my opinion.
If you dont trained your core muscle to memory for pain taking shot, you will be down on the first hard body shot guaranteeatsch
Like I already stated, I train my core while giving out instead of taking punches, I don't really believe in core training for taking shots unless you're talking hypertrophy.
I am not going to judge your techique, since I ahve not see you, but I tell you that my technique is proven to work!!! Like I was telling Retenless...boxing training is hell...the harder you make it, the better results you get....remember that..is not a pass time, is training to get the body ready to deal with pain...remember that
