If Chavez Jr actually walks through Martinez's shots in Sept., he needs to be moved up the list.

Without any sort of power you can't even be a boxer. However RJJ and PBF have shown what defense can do to replace a chin, although pbfs chin is untested. He was on ***** st for a second against Mosley but recovered.

Yes true. McCall hasn't been hurt. Should be ahead of Tua.
    Marciano never really hurt.
Mosley totally over the hill taking shots from Canello, not down.
JCC knocked down by odlh and KT I believe.

Hard to compare chins. Some guys have good defense which makes their chin seem better. Guys like Margarito have no defense yet keep coming. The shots that Margo took against Mosley: damn that was sickening. I would not be surprised if SSM was juiced up for that fight.

good list, you got most of the necesaries but here's some i feel you left out:

Oliver Mccall is a must on any chin list

Ali- the way he took bombs from Foreman, Norton, Frazier, Shavers and some of the best HW punchers ever was remarkable

Langford- fought some of the biggest punchers at heavy and took their shots after starting his career at featherweight and fighting great fighters the whole way up.

Young Stribling- another dude who started as a featgherwifght, went all the way up to HW and took shots from some monstorous punchers.....only ever KO'd once in 250+fights from featherweight to heavyweight and it was a 15th round stoppage (TKO) vs heavyweight champ max schmelling, this former featherweight even fought the biggest heavyweight ever known at the time in Carnera.

SRR fought more HOF'ers than anyone and was never ko'd

Mclarnin- fought all the greatest of his era from feather to welter and was only stopped once when his corner refused to let him come out for rd 8 once

I agree with a lot of those. I'm thinking more and more McCall should be on the list, even though I tried to spread it out amongst weight classes and the list is all ready pretty HW heavy....Robinson didn't fight many big hitters besides a washed armstrong and maybe Graziano as well. just things to consider.

I like your Canadian choices though :thumbsup

Gatti had a shaky chin. He got hurt by a ton of fighters and Featherfirst Robinson hurt him. he had one of the greatest hearts ever though (RIP)
