Here's why my money is on the 'Matrix. Lets have a look at his last five performances.

    1) Shannon (Surely a girl's name?) Miller, who had an impressive record of 23-38-8, now ranked a mighty 283 in the world, Andre dispatched in 3 rounds. This happened on 1st Feb 2008.

    2) Anthony Hanshaw record at the time of 21-1-1. Andre Ko'd this hot prospect in 5 rounds. Hanshaw has not fought since. This happened on 2nd May 2008.

    3) Mike Pashall reocrd at the time of 17-0-1, now ranked 49th in the world, he has since beaten Jesse Brinkley. Andre KO'd the Persecuter in 4rds. This happened on 2nd Augustr 2008.

    4) Victor Oganov, record at the time of 28-1-0, the 'destroyer' is world ranked 27th. Dirrell knocked him out in 6rds. This fight happened on 1st November 2008.

    5) Derrick Findley (Superman), record at the time of 13-2, Dirrell managed to stop the world ranked 68th best in 6rds. This happened on 28th March this year.

Why are people shitting on Dirrell's resume? Froch was in his 30's before he fought anyone of note. SMW is not a deep division and this kid has had less than 20 fights.

And Before Froch beat Taylor, what exactly had he done? Pascal? What else?

Fact is that Froch fans are talking tough but sweating their asses off right now. They know that this kid has all the tools to easily out box and embarrass their man. So, what should have been an easy draw for Froch could end up being the most disasterous 12 rounds of his life.

When Froch was Dirrell's age, his best win was a close decision over Charles Adamu.

Some act like Froch was fighting atg's before his 20th fight. Instead Dirrell and Ward should be commended for taking on champion fighters so early in their careers.

I don't see how that is relevant. Froch has a decent win over Pascal, and a very good win over Taylor. Dirrell's best win was Oganov, and Victor caught a beating from Zuniga before Dirrell got to him. Experience at this level goes to Froch. I could be wrong, but I honestly think that Dirrell's lack of experince will show up early and often. Especially if Froch just jumps on him the way Hanshaw did.

So? Froch was only a pro for 2 years at that point, Dirrell has been one for a good 4 & a ½ years now.

I do commend them:happy:happy:happy, big step up especially for Dirrell,
I just think Dirrell doesn't stand much of a chance.
Froch was fighting bums still at 20 fights, Yes that is very true but that doesnt really mean **** because they're fighting next week and right now at this point in both of their respective careers I think Froch will take him out :hi:

Although I am rooting for dirrell,Ward or Taylor in this tournament.I feel they could have taken on better comp. They have been pros for 5 Years now. They were both celebrated amatuers and gold and bronze medalists. So i think they have been on the slow train if you compare where they are compared to other former olympiansLeonard, Delahoya,Vargas,Mayweather,Reid they are way behind those guys were a 5 years in. All of those guys were superstars who had already been in mega fights or defended there titles at least a handful of times. Even Jones who was hindered early by his dad already had a world title and was considereda top pfp entrant. I hope they do well cause Ive been waiting to see how they will do. (Didnt mean to include Taylor in there he already had faced Hopkins twice)

You're all making the same mistake everyone in 1964 made with Muhammad Ali. "Cassius Clay" had the same resume that Dirrell has now, with the most impressive name being a 46 year-old Archie Moore. He also had the speed and style of Andre Dirrell.

There is one big difference, however: Carl Froch is no Sonny Liston, so I'm expecting Dirrell to put him away before the seventh round.
