    The POSSESSED Ortiz of tonight with tight defense, great boxing skills, power, stamina.

    Vs the 147 Pacquiao.

    Ortiz didn't beat an elite fighter today. Berto is good, not great. No real precedence for him fighting Pacquiao. Lets also not forget Ortiz's previous fights.

    They're both southpaws. Ortiz doesn't use the jab much. emmanuel outjabs victor

    Not many elite fighter out there besides PAC AND MAY MARTINEZ...

    In order to become an Elite you fight Elite..

    so you who you got.

    But I agree he is on the brink of elite.

    Unless Manny turns old overnight, Ortiz will get his **** pushed in.

    Lucky for Ortiz.... Manny is due to get old pretty soon.

    But if had the same form of say the Cotto fight..... Ortiz would get taken out with 6-7.

    :lol::lol: WTF? Berto is a good fighter, victor just wanted it more!

    Victor wont be able to beat pac or may but that doesnt mean hes not any good... That man is the welter-weight champ. He earned it tonight!

    When Ortiz would hit Berto, Berto would back into the ropes.

    When Pacquiao gets hit flush, he returns in kind. Because of how well he makes the weight, I think Ortiz can survive the early rounds, but he'll hit the canvas a few times en route to a late stoppage or lopsided UD loss.

    Would I pay to watch it? Absolutely....

    Even if ortiz defends his belt a few times and gets a pac fight... Well guess what he wins even when he loses to pac! Pac is the best, losing to him doesnt mean you are not a great champion!!

    Ortiz would probably quit on his stool by the 3rd round.

    I'm saying berto isn't the most skilled guy. $ and emmanuel are on different levels.

    Berto = middle school

    Ortiz = high school

    emmanuel = college

    Floyd Jr = grad school

    While I don't agree on the college scoring, that's a pretty good analogy.
