Ortiz will be competitive with Pac on the first 1 or 2 rounds just because of his strength. He just knocked down 4 or 5 of his last opponents.

But after the 5th round, Pac will take over. Ortiz lost his power significantly after the 5th. You can't do that with Pac. Pac will go on, and on, and on....

i knew this would happen and ortiz would be hyped more than berto was if he was to win. i hope this is just knee jerk, and it doesn't get that bad that pac, or mayweather for that matter, are accused of ducking ortiz, like they were berto. he is levels below them, they'd both knock him out without too much trouble. ortiz-khan/bradley winner, maidana rematch, malignaggi, they're the fights fans should be hyping for ortiz.

The thing for both Floyd and Pac is Victor's power.
Hands down the hardest puncher either would have ever faced.

"If it happens it happens but I doubt it will" is what Ortiz should reply to any questions about fighting them. I think it would be best for Victor to try to improve on his game rather than even talk about either of those two.

Imagine Victor under Pac and Roach tutelage!@

As far as fighting Pac - think Cotto fight.
As far as fighting Floyd - probably get Cortez as Ref. Either DQ's Ortiz for rabbit punching (because Floyd turns his head down away) and/or steps in any time Ortiz comes within 1 foot of Floyd. Floyd stays on the outside and pot shots Ortiz. Ortiz gets frustrated and catches upper cut trying to jump in. BUT if Floyd doesn't have power to keep Ortiz outside. FRAK! for him ...

Though I dont think either finish off THIS version of Ortiz.

No hype from me, I just asking the inevitable everyone in the Pac sweepstakes all roads lead to PACman man.

I agree though, Ortiz should call Bradley and Khan to come face him at 147.

    Also unify with senchecko.

The real question is - which other 147 lb figure is more deserving than Ortiz? I just want to see it happen. Pac has got to choose either Ortiz or Canelo after he beats Shane. It's likely Arum will set him up with JMM and I won't boycott that fight since I'd love to see JMM finally have his wish granted but it makes Pac seem hypocritical for stating he's too small for Sergio yet he'd be fighting someone two weight classes south of 147.

Prediction for Pac-Ortiz: I'm hoping Vic's usual early round surge and brutality will overwhelm Pac. But if that doesn't happen, Pac knocks him out in the 5th or 6th. Ortiz's chin isn't super impressive.

Ortiz has a decent chin not the best, but definitely not glass the shots he got caught with would have put any 147-154 pounder down.

He always gets up and pulls ahead.

Pac's stamina would be the toughest challenge and speed angles..

Seriously, aren't you 0-50 on predicting Pac fights? Honest question.

Ortiz leans in w/ his chin and fights too offensive against the leg defensive Pacquiao--TKO 6

The only way Ortiz would have a chance is if he was able to keep the fight on the outside and keep Pac at range.
