I disagree .. they were both awkward, unorthodox mauler types .. I sincerely doubt Oscar at fifteen pounds lighter was stronger .. his punch hardly harder .. he fought much smaller men and please tell me one top fighter Oscar knocked out , let alone beat. Greg Page and Pinklon Thomas were far better than anyone Bonavena defeated. I think they were both head cases and pretty comparable ..

 

Trevor actually has a good genuine resume. But he was as mad as a box of frogs.

It's quite common.

It's definitely unsettling being around anyone with such delusions and paranoia, especially if they are capable of violence and doing serious damage.

I doubt getting punched in the head for a living would help someone with such a condition either.

So bonavena could not be stronger than berbick because he was 15 pounds lighter,then ali was much much stronger than marciano cause he was around 25 -30 pounds heavier right? What a trash comment,bonavena fought in a better era,he was better than berbick,

Berbick was a capable talent. Eddie Futch, Angelo Dundee and Archie Moore all worked with him at one point.

He was a handful for anyone.

Here's my response to you .. Earnie Shavers knocked out number 1 contender Ken Norton, how's that ? Ali was stronger than Marciano, likely by a lot. Anyone that knows anything about Ali knows that he was one of the strongest natural heavyweights that ever lived .. try watching the first round of his fight against Bonavena and see him throw Bonavena around like a rag doll .. Bonavena's claim to fame was the first Frazier fight and he lost that one too .. do your homework next time ..

 

I am more than willing to debate with you my stand on this subject ( but perhaps it might be best to do it by PM. ) I can clearly remember seeing signs on properties to rent in certain parts of London with signs reading.
