I haven't see the fight yet, I'll watch it later. Gimbatov clearly has talent but he shouldn't be losing to guys like that. Perhaps he's lazy or he just doesn't have the right mentality.
Hmmm. He is either overhyped or something was physically wrong with him or somebody paid him to lose i.e. gamblers. At any rate, from the expressions of his corner men at the final bell it looks like he might need to find some new corner men in the near future if he wishes to continue boxing. Has to be a big embarrassment for any prospect worth his salt.
I wonder if Gimbatov is going to be the 21st Century Mike Weaver. Does garbage like this one fight and in the next fight makes a top five fighter look like a victim of Night of the Living Dead.
I scored this fight as a draw. 1 round for Gimbatov, second for Gimbatov as well. The third and fourth round I gave to Bykhautsou . Fifth round I gave to Gimbatov and sixth to Bykhautsou. Gimbatov made a mistake by letting his foot of the gas.
I figured he was one of those good amateurs not top notch enough enough for the pro's. While his career isn't over he'll need to be something like 18-1 beating better before taken seriously...
He let the foot of the gas and because of that he lost the fight. But I doubt he will make that mistake again.
I reviewed the fight without sound this time and changed my mind on the outcome. Second time to see it I believe Gimbatov deserved the decision. Isn't Gimbatov supposed to fight Secola in the near future?
My score: Round 1: 10-9 Bykhautsou Round 2: 10-9 Gimbatov Round 3: 10-9 Gimbatov Round 4: 10-9 Bykhautsou Round 5: 10-9 Bykhautsou Round 6: 10-9 Bykhautsou 58-56 Bykhautsou; I guess a draw is fine but no way Gimbatov won that
